I think the message Obama is trying to give is this: "That the last time the Muslims acted up and threatened the Christian faith, we went to war and killed lots of folk for Gods sake, something which after centuries and centuries we came to think was a bad thing to do. But now that the Muslims are fucking with us again and didn't learn that lesson, we should go kill them." is déjà vous all over again.

So this existential threat of the Obozo administration tried to use the crusades as a sorry ass excuse for radical Islam. Obozo won't even call it radical Islam! And the fucking crusades were about defending against Muslims! Here's a history lesson. http://www.crisismagazine.com/2011/the-real-history-of-the-crusades

I just wonder if this Indonesian transformed idiot still thinks there are 57 states?

Ya but we aren't at war because of what happened a millennia ago. And there wouldn't even be body count comparisons if we stop excusing or lessening the impact of someone's action by repeatedly bringing up similar actions of others.

You are missing the point of his remarks. I just wonder if you are doing it deliberately.

It would be easier for him to link to a right wing website to tell you what he thinks.

I am not the one agreeing with everything that comes out of a certain someone's mouth just because of the D after his name. It's pretty clear this man can say or do no wrong and you guys will eat it up all day long.

I'm Christian, Catholic at that and I'm not sure why I should be insulted. His message is to those people who try to paint all Muslims with the same brush as ISIS and those who kill in the name of Muslims. There was a time where Christians, did equally heinous things in the name of Christianity. That didn't and doesn't speak for all Christianity why should what ISIS does speak for all Muslims.

If you get insulted by things like this you probably shouldn't read any history.

It's a pretty simple message. Any one with an education above 1st grade should be able to tell you as he said it pretty directly. We don't blame all of Christianity for the violent historical or current acts of some Christians, we can't attack an entire religion for the acts of the monsters that claim to represent it. The American far right is trying to start some Christianity vs Islam religious war, and it takes level-headed individuals like our President to keep that from happening. The only way to stop the radical groups in Islam is to get the moderate members of that religion to help. Alienating them by blaming all of Islam for the acts of groups like ISIL or Boko Haram isn't just stupid, it's dangerous.

Thankfully we have everyone here including yourself to explain better what his message is. Even though Obama had all the time he wanted on that podium to convey his message, you guys in a couple sentences seem to make it clear now.

No libruuls or Democrats disagree with Obozo. Because you say so.

Brilliant reasoning.

As I've already pointed out, the message was clear. The President just assumed a higher level of intelligence for conservatives. I spend enough time on here to realize that conservatives and intelligence are two things that don't go together. Like oil and retarded, scummy water.

Glad to see you still have that ultra wide paint brush. Guess there are some liberals that are skummy water as well.

His message was always clear. You didn't hear him and can't hear us because your brain defect gets in the way. The truth, for CBDives, causes cognitive dissonance, stupidity, some would say, that keeps away unpleasant realities, unpleasant, of course, to your externally pompously over puffed, but actually very fragile and damaged egos. You have a disease that protects itself from self recognition, a self sustaining mental prison. You can't think a thought where ego is involved that isn't self deception.

That still didn't answer my question. What message did you take away from his comments?

You have to forgive liberals for that. It is almost impossible for them to believe the CBD isn't caused by stupidity. Because their egos are less likely to distort their rational thinking, they more easily see through the brilliantly clever rationalizations conservatives come up with that easily succeed in blinding them.

You guys see sand and we see an ostrich with his head missing. Generally, of course. Here, apparently, no sacred cow of yours was gored by Obana, and you remained rational.

There were 2 messages actually. One about the people killing in the name of religion, and then Obama's jabs at Christianity after his little high-horse comment. What message did you take from high high-horse comment?

Oh I heard him quite well, it's you hacks that have selective hearing and decide just to ignore his high-horse comments.

All he was saying was that just because a group of people claim they kill in the name of a certain religion, you shouldn't condemn all the followers of that religion for the actions of that small group of people. He then gave a historical example of a small group of Christians who acted in a similar manner. What is the issue? Obama is in my opinion terrible about foreign policy and especially civil liberties, but he does at least support civil rights. Mostly anyway.

I seriously don't want to take Moonbeam's side with his "conservative brain defect" talk. But you seriously are doing everything you possibly can to prove him right about it.

I will take my "brain defect" over having to constantly reword what comes out of our dear leaders mouth so you can continue to have faith in everything he says.
