WHO ever said Obama had to be pro-climate or any of all that?
As a president, Obama spoke for THE COUNTRY and acted in the best interest of THE COUNTRY.
Whether he personally believed or believes in climate change was completely unimportant.
As candidate Obama, he spoke again not in the personal but in the interest of the country.
AMERICA needs to be concerned about climate change, not private citizen Barack Obama.
And AMERICA must act to protect the endangered species, not private citizen Barack Obama.
A president "should" always act in the interest of the country as a whole and that was usually the case until now.
With THIS current president, this current president of orange and lard only acts in and for his own personal interest.
So who cares if the Obama's buy a house or where the house is located? As president, president Obama DID HIS PART to protect the environment AND to protect our endangered species. Something THIS CURRENT president refuses to do because with this current president its all about ME ME ME and all about his very very extremely rich cronies.
But again, nice try.
Trying to get everyone all upset about that black president, again.
Boy.... it really digs some people that Obama ever happened.
I guess that will haunt them to their grave.

Liberals say you gotta bake the cake, right?

I'm not trolling there or here. I think it is pretty funny that those that scream the loudest about the consequences of climate change clearly ignore the warnings themselves. Obama just bought ocean front property. Doesn't seem like he's concerned with flooding or storms one bit. Wonder why...?

Maybe they are taking one for the team. If the Obamas didn't buy that waterfront property, then some poor sucker would have and been subject to rising sea levels. Nice work, Barack.

Barack O'butthole (or something like it) 2008 - " "was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal."

Maybe the planet is all healed up from all the things he did? Wait, what were those again? Nothing, because it was all bullshit in the first place, but go ahead and list them for us Sporty.

Nah, just misusing Obuttholes name is enough for the lefties in this forum to get their panties in a bunch. They think it shouldn't be allowed or permitted for anyone to make any kind of fun of him or his wife. When anyone does it's gotta be wasist or somesuch.

The problem is not with misusing his name, as much as misrepresenting him as a person....unless of course you are a racist then carry on comrade!!

Talk about FUD -- this statement reeks of FUD -- I'm all for Obama doing this. He's made responsible decisions and put effort into achieving, this is something anyone in America can do regardless of race, skin color, sex, religion, etc. -- you know that is not true yet you keep on keeping on because it is a Republican talking point that has been proven to not be true!!

How is that FUD? Obama, whether I agree with everything he stood for or not, made responsible decisions and tried to make something of himself, he achieved. Every single person in America is capable of achieving by doing the same. Skin color, race, sex, religion, ethnicity, etc. will not hold you back, anyone can achieve in this country. I applaud Obama and him enjoying the money he's made in this great country. More power to him. But it is obvious that he isn't worried about rising sea levels or strong storm surges, none of the garbage FUD predictions of climate change.

No Debate! The Obamas' Martha's Vineyard Estate Is This Week's Most Popular Home
By Becky Bracken | Aug 30, 2019

Barack and Michelle Obama, the former president and first lady, have decided to put down roots in Martha's Vineyard, reportedly spending nearly $15 million on a chic Massachusetts waterfront estate. The mansion in question had great poll numbers and crushed all other candidates to claim the title of most popular home on realtor.com® this week.

The former first family are no strangers to the island and have vacationed there for years. After renting the compound over the summer, they decided to stay a little ... longer. Of course, curious citizens want to see where the former leader of the free world will be resting his head. Clicks followed, and it was a landslide in favor of this marvelous 29-acre spread.

Apart from the Obamas' future residence, you were busy clicking on a farmhouse featured on season 3 of "Fixer Upper," a historic Mississippi home resembling a gingerbread house, and the Texas childhood home of the late "Charlie's Angels" bombshell Farrah Fawcett.

While we cue up "Hail to the Chief," take a full look at all of this week's most popular homes by scrolling on down...

Rumor is that Michelle is going to run for pres.
https://www.mvtimes.com/2019/08/05/obama-returns-marthas-vineyard-vacation/
“[Obama] noticed me walking by, and he walked right up to me and greeted me.” Rusczyk then asked the former president, “How would you think Michelle would do as president?” According to Rusczyk, Obama replied, “She would do great!” then he paused and smiled and said, “Except she’s too darn smart.” With that, Obama rejoined his group and continued his game.

Barrack "There’s only so big a house you can have" Obama just bought a new house with Michelle. It is 7000 sq ft, seven bedrooms, 29 acres. Because, green new deal. Also interesting is how close it is to the ocean, how close to sea level it is. Guess he must be pretty sure the sea isn't rising very much any time soon.

So... He got 300 years on the clock right? So what you are telling us is that the Obamas has faith in humanity to turn this shit around .. before the year ~2319?
Good job Slow.

It's been long established that he has no scientific understanding worth mentioning. Next up- Trump tries to buy a nation from someone who doesn't own that and Slow lets that slip- Oops too late!

The only thing offensive in you name calling Obama is that you do it in the most uncreative and dull-witted way possible.

Obutthole? O'butthole?! Why is it sometimes with an apostrophe? Are you trying to make an Irish joke somehow? What are you trying to convey with the butthole anyway? He's the first black/Irish president, and poop is brown and comes from a hole in a butt? Was stupid head already taken?

Learn from the prolific Trump nicknames to get better at this.

Cheetolini- he's a fake orange colored dictator
Hair Furor- like above, but dunking on his terrible hair and temperament, along with the wannabe dictator stuff
Donny two scoops- gluttonous, petty, narcissistic man baby
Felonious D- serial criminal

See? Cleverly constructed layers of meaning and insults built on an inescapable personal characteristic.

Meanwhile after 11 yrs you only have Irish poop orifice...

Being that the majority of domestic terrorist attacks are carried out by radical right wing white males, Slow, please get help. Facts are facts, you're statistically more likely to end up being a terrorist than just about any other demographic in the US.

I hear the same type of rhetoric from Trump defenders regularly,

You practice what you preach whether you're a family values conservative telling others how to live or a liberal speaking out against the excesses of the 1% and global warming, doing otherwise especially as a notable public figure undermines that which you promote no matter how noble or just your cause may be on its merits alone.

Just like the king of Nineveh when he was facing a great calamity if he and his country did not change their ways, you lead by example, don't expect the people to put on sackcloth and sit in ashes if the leaders themselves, past and present, refuse to do so.

I'm all for Obama doing this.

Utter bullshit. If this sentiment from you were actually true, this thread created by you lamenting Obama doing this wouldn't exist. Just another proof of you being just another lying, triggered, self-centered, culturally unaware cry baby thumb sucker. No other explanation fits for your continual posting of threads about all the crap others do that don't trigger you, despite by creating such threads just exposes how triggered you are by anyone and everyone of color doing anything other than breathing....and even then, even their existence seems to cause you some grief. Why, no one knows....but you surely are one spineless, easily offended putz, at best.

Nope, still a completely nonsensical argument. Nothing about Obama buying this land (if he actually did) constitutes 'hypocrisy' with respect to climate change. How exactly does buying this land contribute to global warming? Was he planning to start fracking on it?

In any case Obama was notable for _not_ doing very much to impose rules to limit what others can do with regard to CO2 emissions. He was decidedly conservative in that respect, as he was in quite a few others. If you want to criticise him, criticise him for _not_ telling others how to live to the degree he probably should have done.

And _still_ you exhibit this childish petulant demand that famous people should 'lead by example' or you are going to let the planet go to hell out of sheer petulant resentment. It's just an infantile attitude. What you ought to be demanding is legal action that will constrain those famous folk and the rest of us alike. Not some sort of game of competitive virtue-signalling.

We need international and legal action to address the problem, not a few celebs making gestures. And any legal measures will of course apply to the rich, including Obama.

Who cares about the King of Nineveh, we've moved on a bit from the days of divine right and absolute monarchy (though our own Royals are indeed a bunch of tiresome hypocrites, but that's a side-issue).
