So in other words when the US makes a regrettable statement about a matter it must, instead of retracting the statement, act upon it because it is more important that its statements are followed through even when regrettable than retracted.

If the US' credibility hinges upon follow through here or not the HS has damn near no credibility left.

Implicit in Cantor's statement is the obvious support for assaulting Iran when they get sufficiently close to having a nuclear weapon.

The update to that article is pure insanity. Not bombing Syria undermines our intention to keep Iran from developing a nuclear weapon? The president needs potential authorization for boots on the ground to secure our nation? Bombing Syria isnt going to war?

Yes, and that's the root of the issue. So many of the democratic voting bloc look at our Dear Leader as NOTHING more than a handout machine.

Too bad the republicans were calling him a socialist while the democrats were bashing him for not being democrat enough. He's been the most right leaning of the democrat presidents in recent history, yet you have idiots frothing at the mouth about how he's a Kenyan muslim socialist.

Just read an article saying that Assad is moving military equipment to residential areas. Are we going to bomb those areas? Our only hope now is that Obama is forcibly removed from office.

Knowing the pos obama it wouldnt surprise me if he does this. This guy has lost what very little respect I had for him. Attacking Syria is a horrible idea especially since he will only help the enemies of the US.

Wow there's a first time for everything I guess; I have never been called a racist before in this forum, I guess I'll add another notch on my belt of people labeling me with funny tags that don't apply. Calling me racist has to be right up there with someone calling me a bible thumper because I knew the bible better as an atheist than some of the right-wing so-called Christians in this forum did.
