So in other words when the US makes a regrettable statement about a matter it must, instead of retracting the statement, act upon it because it is more important that its statements are followed through even when regrettable than retracted.

If the US' credibility hinges upon follow through here or not the HS has damn near no credibility left.

Implicit in Cantor's statement is the obvious support for assaulting Iran when they get sufficiently close to having a nuclear weapon.

These old fuckers in Washington are psychotic.

Great, the only time we can get the idiots in DC to agree on something is when they're on the wrong side of it.

I think boner is going to have a rude awakening on this one. And quite frankly hope somebody challenges him for his leadership position.

The update to that article is pure insanity. Not bombing Syria undermines our intention to keep Iran from developing a nuclear weapon? The president needs potential authorization for boots on the ground to secure our nation? Bombing Syria isnt going to war?

Once again our government is about to do something against the will of the people.

Obama is becoming Bush lite....sadly.

Obama needed to STFU on the bombing stuff to begin with and now he has himself and the country in a hole and the warmongering fools in Congress can't wait to get another one started.

The more infallible a governance is, the more dangerous it is.

The more centralized a governance is, the more infallible it must become.

What do you mean becoming? Some of us saw this years ago. Too bad Democrats were so busy bobbing up and down on his cock to see what he really is.

And I LOVE the nooooooooooo it's not war, it's not an offensive thing, it's just a "degrade and deter" that's all it is, degrade and deter.

And his little minions will lap it up, I'm sure.

Yes, and that's the root of the issue. So many of the democratic voting bloc look at our Dear Leader as NOTHING more than a handout machine.

They view him as a martyr who saved them. He bumped up they checks by $100 a month, he gave them a phone he gunna do MORE!

Too bad the republicans were calling him a socialist while the democrats were bashing him for not being democrat enough. He's been the most right leaning of the democrat presidents in recent history, yet you have idiots frothing at the mouth about how he's a Kenyan muslim socialist.

I would think the Republicans would glad to see a democrat acting like a republican, but you just can't please some people.

Just read an article saying that Assad is moving military equipment to residential areas. Are we going to bomb those areas? Our only hope now is that Obama is forcibly removed from office.

Knowing the pos obama it wouldnt surprise me if he does this. This guy has lost what very little respect I had for him. Attacking Syria is a horrible idea especially since he will only help the enemies of the US.

If a republican like McCain suggests the exact same thing, it's ok, but if it's Obama, since he's the big "O'bummer" bad black man, suddenly the exact same idea is horrible?

Try thinking outside the box for a change.

Please do not use "black man" as a negative stereotype like this, it's incredibly racist.

Wow there's a first time for everything I guess; I have never been called a racist before in this forum, I guess I'll add another notch on my belt of people labeling me with funny tags that don't apply. Calling me racist has to be right up there with someone calling me a bible thumper because I knew the bible better as an atheist than some of the right-wing so-called Christians in this forum did.

Either that or you were being sarcastic; I'm hoping sarcasm.

When did I ever say it was alright for McCain? It's wrong for anyone.

And the term black man for obama is racist.

Try thinking outside the box for a change and stop making assumptions.
