I finished playing the game. I have to say that it was almost as good as BG2. Excellent game!

the fact that you even attempt to compare this to BG2 means it has to be great, bugs aside!🙂

<--- very excited

started playing when i got home to my apt... LOVE the battle music! although i hate how some of it was taken from regular NWN. party system works well, and the AI is decent - although i generally take control of everyone. i wish the party could move as a unit like in BG2. enjoying it so far, i'm glad i picked it up! 🙂 i'm running medium graphic settings, all other graphical settings (texture sizes, etc.) at max. 1280 is pushing, so i'll probably go down to 1024x768 for smoother gameplay. see rig in sig 🙂

1.02 also has SecuROM v7, which installs its own 'service' and undeletable registry keys. I've had problems with it in the past, and more than a few people on the Bioware forums have reported crashes/BSoDs after installing 1.02.

Its hilarious that they even do this, since drive emulation software works fine...

Good ole Atari/Infogrames.........

oh yeah, what are all the various filtering settings? most games just have AF or AA. this has mipap, and two others i've not really seen before (probably have, but not in those words).

Your call, you could uninstall it, shelf it for a month or so, then try it again?

me too... what a brat. and that Bishop punk

Bishop I like, and Qara is actually a good character. She just doesn't mesh with my current party.

I like how Obsidian has provided a variety party characters. You're not forced into a good party because of a lack of evil or chaotic characters and vice verse.

My influence with Bishop varies widely, depends on the conversation. Since my character is also a ranger, any conversations about ranger skills or tracking usually gets me a +. Moral conversations usually hurt me with him though.

always choose the option which is good or involves honour or involves fighting.
