You gotta admit. NV's PR team is doing a fantastic job of keeping the buzz alive considering they've had nothing but their dicks in their hands for two quarters. I mean, we're talking bit boyz level vapor is all they had to work with since September, yet they're still keeping a chunk of mindshare.
Not really.
Those who are NV fanboys have had their pants unzipped since the start and will keep them that way.
Those who are ATI fanboys are still laughing all the way to the e-store where they buy their new ATI card.
Those neutrals are mostly finding it amusing and frustrating that NV still haven't managed anything, and there is no high end competition so prices have stagnated or increased and there is no competition.
And most people don't even know what the fuss is about because they don't know about/care about high end GPUs.
They just want something they can buy to play games, and stuff above $200 is of no consequence to them at all. (NV is competitive below $150, and these people don't know what a Direct X is).
NV can keep mindshare without too much problem when they have products which are still appealing, and they do for the majority of the market by volume.
