It should not be allowed to post a thread in GH in which the answer to sticky question number six is "no lol halp plz :D". We're seeing way too much of that. It's not like it's so hard to flick through a couple of the front page buyer's guide articles, or to be honest 80% of the rest of General Hardware, which will have nigh-identical builds. :|

It's much easier to simply post a thread and have people come to you, than to do all that searchin' and readin'

People, when you post telling us you'll be "multitasking a lot" like "listening to music while downloading and browsing the internet", please adjust your sentence into "normal usage". Stuff like ripping a DVD while playing HD video while doing all of the above counts as multitasking. You don't need a quad core because you have office, internet explorer and winamp open at the same time. Even if you have idon'tcarehowmany tabs open in your browser. Modern operating systems are built with the idea you might try and do a few things at once in mind, it's just when you decide you'll need to play some Crysis while transcoding your DVD rip, on a daily basis, that it becomes something to seriously consider when buying hardware.

I was told I should post here, so I'll just copy what I put in my thread. I'm interested in buying a computer, but I don't have any idea what to look for and where to buy it from or how much it would cost. I'd be using it mostly for gaming. I want to run games like Fallout: New Vegas, Crysis 2, and Medal of Honor on their best settings. If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated.

IndianWarBones: you were asked to answer the questions from the first post in this sticky thread. Please post your answers back in your original thread. IFAIK, this sticky thread is not the place for personal build requests, merely a template.
