Nothing like buying a gun and getting it same day...

I can do that any day of the week. I would never buy a gun from a gun or sporting goods store anyway. I buy all my guns from private indiviual collectors with a selection you could never touch at a store and there is no paper trail either. I don't want the stupid government knowing which guns I own.

Got something to hide? I hope your house gets wiretapped.

I read the title as...."Nohting like getting a job and quitting the same day"...when I was quickly glancing over the front page😕

I always get my guns 5 minutes after I buy them.

It goes something like this:

Me: I'll take this .44 Mag here.
Dealer: Okay, that's 550.
Me: Here you go:
Dealer: Let me just do the bg check here...*calls 1-800 number, talks 2 mins, hangs up*
Dealer: Ok, I'll run the card and you're all set.
Me: Thanks!

And I walk out with my new gun.

Living in a wannabe california that is controlled by probably the most corrupt mayor in the history of America has its downsides. 3 day wait for handguns, 1 day long guns.

Chicago is something much, much worse than a wannabe California. That mayor really launched a war on guns, and he won. He's a pretty shady guy from what I've read.

Ouch! That stinks. Alaska is very kick-back with firearms compared to other states I've heard about. We don't even need permits for concealed carry, though we do need them if we wish to exercise the privilege in other states. I think a large part of it stems from the sheer number of people who hunt here. Guns are almost like a well-accepted part of life.
