A couple of posters need to self isolate themselves from this thread. Sick of scrolling past all the back and forth bickering when I'm mainly interested in UPDATES and intelligent conversation regarding this thing.

I went to file for divorce finally and the court houses are all closed till July like really. This shit is impacting everything like walmart here closing at like 11pm instead of being 24/7.

Businesses are doing it when they ask employees to work from home or stagger work hours. Governments are doing it when they close schools. We're seeing it in the sports world, with no-spectator games or the postponement of sporting events. Museums, theaters and concert halls where large groups of people gather are closing their doors.


It means trying to find the least-crowded train car or possibly driving instead of taking mass transit.

Yes, I would say that tends to include cancelling events/closing lobbies in restaurants.

Time to reactivate some phone lines!

Yeah...some of my clients actually had the service providers drop support & go VOIP-only. I have very few customers with actual, real POTS lines anymore, for anything, even for faxes & alarm lines. Most alarm systems I put in do a dual ISP + 4G type of setup for communications because no one will run POTS lines anymore.

I'm on Spectrum and have not had issues (so far) today in the Indianapolis area. On most normal days I seem to have issues around lunch, so I wonder if they've beefed the infrastructure up around here.

AT semi experts did I have the Corona Virus?

Little more than two weeks ago I became sick, rapidly progressed in 24 hours from the oh crap I’m getting sick feeling to ugh I’m sick.
First night I was exhausted and sort of cold
Next day aches
Day 3 more aches worst ever from being sick but not crippled
Day 4 similar to day 3, I didn’t take my temperature but had a few hot/cold moments
Day 5 felt better but kind of weak
Day 6 strength/appetite came back
Apx day 10 cough became less frequent
*I had a dry cough from day one* not a frequent cough but fits of coughing

Reading the symptoms I appeared to have all of them but it’s confusing because maybe it was a regular cold. So far my Wife is healthy we stayed in different rooms most of my sick time but our house isn’t big and has one bathroom.

3 people( or their family) that I've talked with had all of the flu symptoms in Jan but tested negative. Think we've had the corona for months. If provable, maybe people would calm down a bit. Or not.

The John Bolton look-alike kept saying the Tiananmen Square Massacre was in 1979. In the second one they all went on and on about the UK's "tactic" of herd immunity when the UK only discussed it as a consequence (not a goal).

I've been saying for the last 2 weeks that, with my extensive scientific knowledge (speaking out of my ass), my thought is that if a magic test existed whereby you could magically test the entire country instantly, we would see that 50% + of us are already infected or were previously infected. I think for the most part people are not displaying symptoms or confusing them for something else. Everyone is getting infected, 2% of us will die, and the rest will go on. For the sake of our economy, I hope that plays out sooner rather than later.

I preached this on my facebook, i was like people enjoy some beer get some weed if its legal there enjoy yourselfs. Consider any stay at home pay for maybe weeks one hell of a vacation. Have fun with it, don't be sitting there shaking in fear with your heads up your ass for the warmth.
