Never wanted to toss a fist into a monitor so bad then when i was on that site. Huh? What are you tripping on? I said 2.5 is the number of people that the infected go on to infect on average who contract covid-19. It's the R factor, look it up. For the flu it's 1.3%. And bad at math, I'm not. In fact I have a degree in mathematics.

When done properly, the inspections are surprise inspections. Locally, they catch restaurants with near-failing grades several times per month. Most restaurants pass with a 90 or higher. You are vastly overestimating how sloppy and bad food prep workers can be. In most cases, health inspectors won't have any problems to find because there aren't that many, certainly not so many that are catastrophic. You're being sensationalistic.

Yeah this entire scare is worthy of memes and jokes at this point. I took a friend to welfare and well let tell ya how they handled things. Keep in mind they usually have 300+ people in this place at any given time and now they let in only a few at a time. Every minority and their 10+ kids standing in what i believe was a 200+ person line EASILY outside this place . Sorry but in California the minorities in other states ARE THE MAJORITY here LOL.

Such a mess and of course my friend got screwed on much needed stamps, i have to feed this woman for a short bit cause i can't be a big enough asshole to not share mine and let her starve. We going for staple food prob next week like taters,eggs rice and whatever can make big portions and outlast a nuclear holocaust.

Edit: bought a 20 pack or something of 1000 tp sheets like 4 months ago, BEST INVESTMENT EVER! Still got like 10 rolls left.

Edit: I use adblock on Opera GX and its MILES faster then trash chrome. Don't believe me? Open up both and do some tests. Maybe PornHub won't buffer on Opera its been a minute since i last went there LOL.

...except they kinda did shut it down over a virus. I watched Louis Rossmann ride his bike through an almost completely empty Times Square the other day.

Walmarts website said my local branch was open 24/7.
Drove over last night to pick up whatever I could. They had a sign on the door saying Closed.
A much smaller sign said they would only be open between 7 and 8:30. Really wish those signs were much bigger and the website was kept up to date. Also worried they may be cleaned out tomorrow morning.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't expect per-store hours to be correct at this point. Some places are having to update/change their schedules more than once per day, and how would you even show things like senior hours without reformatting the page?

Checked walmart this morning. they have updated hours for my local store and I assume most others.
Went to walmart. They had a massive crowd well before opening. many of the people looked anxious and a few even seemed excitable. Knowing what the average Walmarter is like on a good day, I drove down the road and hit up Food Lion.
Very small group. Nobody seemed anxious. When they opened the doors everyone was very polite, no shoving, no running, no hostility, and no hoarding. The whole gang was cool and mellow inside the store while rolling around their carts.
Only downside is they were out of most canned goods except gross stuff like beets, and of course most boxed dinners. And hand soap, and most popular types of dish soap and clothing soap. They had plenty of meat but of course a person can only eat so much before it goes bad, so no one was stockpiling it.
Checkout was also polite and courteous and non-rushed.

SO, in at least one section of America people are still being cool.
