The things I'm seeing on TV news are very worrying. I can accept people arguing that people are suffering extreme financial hardship and pressures that they are in no shape to deal with. But doing it while obviously engaging in risky behavior in terms or virus spread forces me to believe that they are very badly informed in terms of what's afoot. And doing it with AR15's in hand just reinforces that impression. Many of these people are for the most part acting out, going for the street theater adrenaline thrill of protesting. And their claims that it's a matter of first amendment rights or personal freedom and that the government has no right to ask them to alter their behavior shows that they are sorely lacking in understanding of civic responsibility and governments' role in modern human life.
Hey no worries though, it's just paying your mortgage, car bill, groceries, maintenance, wireless bill, internet bill, credit card bill, utility bill, electric bill, gas bill, etc.... These aren't big-ticket items that if people can't afford would likely result in massive riots because people literally can't eat.
Just stay home and watch Netflix for 6 months while magically affording all those items. I mean, you might get evicted from your house - but only after this is all over. Also, getting in huge ass 3-mile long lines to pickup food at a food pantry (that you desperately hope hasn't run out yet) is totally self-sustainable.
