They have a 1 in 103 chance of dying from a car accident everyday.

So the average person dies in a car accident over three times per year. Interesting ...

Edit: yeah I know this isn’t exactly how that math works

Those are lifetime odds, not daily. If those were daily, that'd be millions of deaths every day in a Mad Max environment.

That was a pretty crass error from sdifox. Anyone who can base their argument on interpreting that 1 in 103 figure as applying to 'every day' can't really be thinking about what they are saying.

Also, that risk isn't evenly-distributed. It includes an awful lot of bad drivers (mostly young males).

Trump and the feds dropped the ball on this. Our state leaders dropped the ball.

We need manadatory state wide testing ASAP. We don't even have enough kits to go out though. Cleaning and disinfecting buildings means nothing if they keep getting reinfected. When will we get it? Today, Trump said that it's all good and that this will be over with soon. He's insane. This is a natural ewmergeny that is going to have major implications for all. Our lives are going to change forever because of this virus.
Which state did you have in mind?

It's 1 in 103 every life. If it was 1 in 103 everyday then nearly everyone would be dead.

My bad, @K1052, my post was not what I meant to covey. Very poorly worded, and wrong on numbers as well. For that I apologise.

I am just flipping out at Mai72, not you.
