How about showing a bit of modesty in the tough times we are in. He and his family are on the tax payers dole, he is not a CEO of a private company.

He and his wife have made millions on their own. Those kids have zero privacy and little normalcy in their daily lives. I don't begrudge them the opportunity for a little fun once in a while.

WTF constitutes a trip to you? When you go on vacation do you only use lodging in your trip budget? Quit being so stupid about this and just admit tax payers money was used on these vacations. Whether or not taxpayers paid for lodging in the bahamas or utah is irrelevant. Taxpayers money was spent on this trip.

I dont give a fuck about the costs either. I think it is petty to complain and there isnt much of a complaint from me. I am just grillling shehateme on her dancing around the costs of the trips and taxpayers paying for some or all of it.

Tax payers are paying for Air Force one. We have already established that.

Are we all personally paying for Sasha and Malia to enjoy the beach and then the Mountains in the same week? Neither of us have proof of that. You admitted you didn't know.

As other people have outlined, travel is probably allocated a certain amount of funds every year. The Jet is going to get paid for whether or not they are taking them to Hawaii, or the Bahamas, or the fucking North Pole.

So really, if you can't prove to me that we paid for the ENTIRE vacation which would include airfare (covered) and accommodations (you said you didn't know if it was covered) and entertainment...then I guess this conversation is over.

Whats a trip to me? Flying somewhere, staying somewhere, being entertained somewhere. Whats a trip to you?

Good, we are making progress. We paid for the airfare. Now add in security. So yes, tax payers have paid for some portion of this trip.

Im not crying about the money spent. I am in disbelief it took this long for you to admit that tax payers money was spent on these trips.

That's among the stupidest things I've ever seen you type. Show a bit of modesty? The Obamas were independently well-off, long before setting foot in the White House. Sure, their security and travel are paid for by taxpayers, but this would happen no matter where they went or what they did.
