They probably don't let dorks in either so you, Spidey and some of the other geeks would be left standing outside with the fatties.

I'm guessing multitudes of fat people will be good for the club's business. More attractive people inside, more attractive people wanting to go to that particular club because they know there won't be any fat people.

Editted for grammar . . . its early.

that was my point. most of the boycotters will be the very people that the club is trying to keep out! ;)

instead of the bouncers refusing them entry, just make everyone step on a set of scales before they enter, if the buzzer sounds, out you go

I suggest you not go into L&R and read his posts. They are truly pathetic and make you wonder what went wrong with humanity.

All night clubs do this sort of thing, this is just the first one that's been honest about whey they weren't getting in. Lose some weight? Fuck no! I'd rather sue so I could keep my cowish figure!

I think thats kinda mean but I support the notion that clubs are private businesses and they should be able to set up any rules they like.

Thats why I was ticked off when California made laws saying you couldnt smoke in bars.
I'm not a smoker and I dont particularily care for the habit, but I think a private business owenr should be allowed to run it his way, not the governments way.

Smoking is a health issue to others in a nightclub.

A single fatty takes up the space of several skinny hot chicks.
This is always the standard response I get and I always give the standard response back:
If you're in a bar for your health you are a FUCKING IDIOT.

And that doesnt change the fact its a private business. Thats like going over to your buddies house and suing him when he lights up.

If you don't like it then write your senator. In the meanwhile, you can smoke outside and cry with the fatties.
I think I see the problem here.

You are clearly only reading what you want to read.

This is nothing new. It's just like if you go to a popular club with 3 of your guy friends, better be prepared to wait in line for an absurd amount of time (even if there isn't one) or puchase a few bottles to get in. It's what makes a hot night spot...a hot night spot.

And having my visual senses assaulted by fat chicks is a public health issue.

Continual upchucking from the sight of them, let alone smelling the sweaty beast has been proven to bring acid into the esophagus. This causes cancer.

This is a public health hazard as well as the boom-boom chic takes up too much space.

Not to mention the risk of getting crushed to death if one of them falls on you...

I am blessed to have a phenominal metabolism, and because of that, am not fat at all so there is no way I can symphatize with those who are up in arms about this. Even if I had to work at being HEALTHY (not skinny) I would... simply because I care about myself enough to want to be that way.

This is the same thing as the thread yesterday about being fat/obease. 99% of the time, it is about CHOICE. All of life is about choice. I am so sick of people making excuses or crying victim in any part of their life because they don't have the balls to realize that it is the choices they make that shapes their life.
If you want something bad enough, you will find a way to make it happen... be that money or weight loss.

I see many women who are extremely heavy strutting around and proud of the way they look, and that is good for them. But they should not blame anyone but themselves for being a size 26. Nor should they get angry when people stare because their fat rolls are falling out of their mid-driff shirt.

I am very happy to see this happening as most establishments flat out say "We have the right to refuse service to anyone". Whether or not that right is ever implemented I cannot say, but it is their right.

However, I am also assuming that if someone is not "pretty" enough they can also refuse them. So... what about that then?

a lot of bigger popular clubs have something called "face controll" where they basicially dont let ugly people in, its also nothing new
