It's a privately owned club that should be able to say who is allowed in or not. I'm not sure how it is in France, but here I've seen signs where the owner can use the right to refuse entry to anyone.

Perhaps the manager should have declared them too "big and beautiful" and that the club needed to allow in some average clientele to maintain an interesting mix. Seriousry, discrimination based upon appearance is SOP and to be expected at a pop club. The exclusivity schtick is part of the attraction. Such unrepentant fatties need to learn some shame. Surely, if they were enjoying themselves in a club they would not want this guy allowed in, n'est ce pas?

i never have understood all this 'discrimination' bullshit. if any privately owned business doesn't want to do business with, hire, or deal with certain people, why should they? i can understand how public crap shouldn't discriminate (you know, courts, libraries, etc.), but this is someone's personal business and they should be able to run it as they please. if they don't like fatties, whities, blackies, jews, whatever, they shouldn't have to hire them, do business with them, or deal with them at all. if people don't like it they can protest on public property around the place of business.

does your rant include health laws like food prep and storage? or how about fire safety? or the American with disabilities act? im just wondering where the line is. should a business owner be able to run his business any way he wants and just ignore any law he want?

If they were smart they'd ban Guidos and let fat chicks in, fat chicks can drink & eat a lot more and will make the owner more money, will a dude who is afraid of fat chicks not go to the club because she's there? No, he'll go and stay away from where she's at.

Thank god LA has 3 big girl clubs, they don't discriminate against skinny chicks there. But you just don't see many because of who the club caters too. 4 more are set to open out here by next year. I myself am tired of seeing skinny bitches at clubs.

That's easy to say if you are not the one who is being discriminated against at every street corner. What if every single grocery store in America decided that they do not want White people to shop in their stores because some how it was determined to be bad for business? Obviously that is an extreme example, but the point is that allowing a business to discriminate is like opening Pandora's box. As another poster has already asked you, where is the line drawn?

As it has already been pointed out, this article does not pertain to the US. However, the US has tried racism and discrimination in the past and it was a disaster. Learn from history.
