AFAIK there is no retail DVD version in the states...the DVD is an OEM copy or something like that (or so I thought)....in any case, when I bought my copy last March, it was not available on DVD. 😉

The guy I got it from said it came bundled with his computer, so I guess it's an OEM.

disabling daemon tools is another thing I tried, but I didn't add it to the list 😛

I'm quite aware that at least the european version (and probably others) were available on DVD 😉 (Although that's stupid to release one over there and not over here...)

Yeah, as others have said, the only way toget FC on DVD was OEM or I believe some video cards had it at one point. In the states of course...

Probably is. I had serious issues w/ my 9600 pro and HL2 but CoD ran like butter.
