The funny thing is that Planar 17" in that pic....I got it FREE. Someone left it at the hotel...after about 6 months, I asked if I could "claim it". I was the only one that knew what is was by the "Planar" box.

I had doppler effect off.

I'm wondering if I should try anything else on this fresh install (like compatability mode for sound, messing with fast writes, etc.) or just give up.
