Shit.

Good series, Canucks.

Some positives for the Hawks:

Found the franchise goalie (hopefully), and some good young players to surround the core.

Mark it down, Canucks will struggle against the Preds, and go 7 games again.

Wow, that was one of the best hockey games I've seen. I was on edge practically the entire game.

Well, I can't say I'm happy about the result. But I am enthused about the future of the Hawks and proud of the fact they forced a game 7 after being down 3-0 in the series. Good luck to Vancouver in the rest of the playoffs. I think the Hawks broke your back though and teams are going to be very very hungry against you.

One guy will likely be the difference in Vancouver vs. Nashville: Pekka Rinne.

If the Canucks can get to him, they'll win. If he plays at his best it'll be damn tough.

Nashville has nowhere near the skill and scoring of the Canucks so they can't get into a run and gun game or they'll get killed.

I would have thought with the west being done they'd be able to come up by now with a schedule for the second round for the west. Nothing on NHL.com or ESPN.com

"It means a lot for this group, I think, and this city that we were able to do this," said Canucks star Daniel Sedin. "A lot of years you've seen teams crumbling under pressure and not being able to play their game, but we stuck with our game plan. I don't think they had any business being in a seventh game."

Screw off, sister.

Any respect I had for you is out the window.

That guy is a complete fucking idiot. He did nothing in the entire series and talks shit like it was a breeze getting past the Hawks. I hope him and his sister die in a bus crash.

And guess what buddy...YOUR TEAM DID CRUMBLE UNDER THE PRESSURE. Up 3-0 and you allow the Hawks to force a game seven.

5G 2A for 7 points in 7 games is nothing? No Chicago player had more. Seems noone realizes or remembers that Chicago lost 3 straight as well, and the Sedins were a big part of that.

What was he supposed to do? Get 25 points in 7 games?

And honestly the Blachawks had no business in a Game 7. The Canucks let them in it by shitting the bed for 2 games.

You don't respect that but Toews saying "We aren't exposing them for what they are" is ultra respectful? When what they are was the best offensive, defensive, goaltending, power play and near the top pk and the best overall record.

What was he suppose to do?

He was supposed to show some respect after the hard fought series was over, not act like a little nancy boy.

Do you think he said that to the Hawks during the handshake line? Or do you think he said "good game"?

I'm talking about "doing nothing" in the series.

You must not be familiar with the Sedins as people. Daniel doesn't say something like that as a diss to the Blackhawks being a poor team, he talks about it because the Canucks should have been able to end it earlier and their poor play is why it made it to 7 after a 3-0 lead. Had they played at all in Games 4 and 5 it should have ended before Game 7.

The Sedins are widely regarded as very classy players off the ice, I'm sure Chicago media and Chicago fans won't take that though.

You probably haven't been watching the Preds if you think they need to run and gun to win.

I didn't really want to play the Canucks in the next round but considering just how hard that 7-game series must have been on them... I guess it could be worse. The alternative was a Detroit team that just slept through a 4-game series sweep and would be fully rested and probably injury free.

Here's to hoping we at least make it to 6 games. I'm not holding my breath. :)

Not when you talk like that after a series, no, we won't. It shows no class or respect at all. Like I said, bus crash.

Show up for one of the 4 games in which they had a chance to eliminate the Hawks. 5 points in the first 3 games... 2 points the next 4. 3 games does not make a series. He better be thankful that Kesler and Burrows decided to step up while their captain wasn't doing shit.

You probably haven't been watching the Preds if you think they need to run and gun to win.
Yep, Nashville will actually hit the Nucks back and wear them down in a grinding series.
