habs with a power play to end the game on another bs call. These refs have to be paid off...
Aww c'mon, Detroit was totally pulling for you guys to beat the cannucks.
Oh don't worry...it comes down to Detroit Vs. Cannucks, I'm going with Detroit. Believe me. Until then, my tradition of hatred continues!
That being said...Open letter to Vancouver!

About time you made it.
My picks for the second round, went 7/8 in the first round:
1) Flyers over Bruins: "The Choke" is still too fresh, and Philly will euthanize Boston for the 2nd year in a row with Pronger back at full strength. Philly is no Montreal: they are just as good as Boston @5v5 and Boston's utter lack of PP goals will be their undoing.
2) Capitals over Bolts: Division rivals where Tampa couldn't beat a weaker Caps team earlier in the year, and I expect nothing to change. Caps are rested, Bolts are not. Neuvy is a better netminder than Rolo (although Rolo has been impressive as of late) and the #2 PK Caps will neutralize Tampa's PP just like NY. Carlson/Alzner will slow the Stamkos line, and the Caps are offensively dangerous on every line.
3) Canucks over Preds: A shame these two got seeded so early because IMO they're the best in the west. Canucks should pull it out, just too much talent and Vancouver's lower lines will be the deciding factor since Weber/Suter will slow down the Sedin's. Pekka Rinne is a wall, but he does have weaknesses which the Ducks figured out. A better team should be able to exploit Pekka in the same manner, and Luongo is just as good especially after getting the monkey off his back. The Preds need to exploit Vancouver's lack of rest in the early games to have a shot.
4) San Jose over Detroit: Niemi will have to outplay Howard (which I expect), but the key will be SJ staying out of the penalty box to tip a close matchup. @5v5, SJ is #5 whereas Detroit is #15, however Detroit is just as potent on the PP and both leave a lot to be desired on the PK. If Detroit can garner more PP's, they have a decent shot. If SJ gets more, it will be over, especially considering SJ allows almost a half a goal less per game than Detroit.

Preds have been completely dominated in the first period other than on the scoreboard. I guess that's all that counts but the numbers are not looking good otherwise at this point.
