Luongo showed signs of cracking IMO in yesterday's game. The first goal OK... player using the d-man as a screen but after that he just let them back into the game. When the Canucks made a mistake he didn't bail them out. CHI needs to get physical if they want a chance at coming back as they were just getting man handled by VAN.

As for the ANA-NAS series I think Ryan sits a few games for his stomp. It is pretty obvious that he went for the guys skate in order to move the puck.

Hawks really have no one to blame but themselves. They left so many points out there this season when they were basically healthy; they could have easily avoided having to play the Canucks in the first round.

As I predicted - Bolland is a huge loss, and Sharp doesn't look like himself yet.

Hawks biggest problem is that they rely too heavily on their top 2 Lines. Canucks can use all 4 during the game and have each dominate the Play, while the Hawks can't.

I saw it twice and I don't understand the penalty on Helm's hit on Jovanovski. Helm hit him shoulder to shoulder. Jovanovski saw him coming.

That was some bs waving off that preds goal. The puck was already past him when contact occurred. Blah.

Boo-hoo. If you watch the replay the puck was not even touching the line when the contact occurred and the puck needs to cross/clear the line before it counts as a goal. Easy call for the folks back in Toronto.

BS call is on Brad Winchester for high sticking. Smithson knocked Winchester off his skates and then fakes getting hit in the face. The refs who is stood all the way on the other end called it despite his view being blocked by several players plus the net. Even replay shows high sticking didn't even occur. Great acting on Smithson though. Too bad his effort has to wait for a year to get nominated for an Oscar.

Another BS call, Luca Sbisa for roughing. I am not even sure how that penalty happened because the puck was already on the other end of the ice. This setup the Preds with the second PPG. First PPG by Preds due to some how Parros getting 4mins in his tangle with Smithson who only got 2mins.

Great job, refs. You single handedly almost got the Preds back into the game.

It will be interesting to see what (if anything) gets done about the Bobby Ryan foot stomp incident. BTW, I did go back and look at that later today when the alcohol was not clouding my judgment and yes, you're right, waiving off the goal was the right call.

ESPN is predicting 2-4 games for Ryan since Pronger got 8 back in the day (much worse though).

It is, but the officiating is atrocious. It looks like the league told the guys to tighten up to get scoring up or something. They are calling some real bullshit out there.

I see that, holy sht how long has Philly had a power play in the 2nd? Is this their 3rd now?

Edit: Finally scored. 4-3 Flyers!

Philly pulls it out. Wow what a sloppy game. Probably over half the game was PP's, but all that matters is that it's 1-1 now.
