Game three will show us if its a matchup problem or a depth problem for the Hawks. I hope they win tomorrow though, cause I'll be watching it from the United Center! GO HAWKS!

Pretty sure the Hawks have a Depth problem. Even if they move on to the second round, I doubt they'll be able to go further relying so heavily on their top 2 Lines.

It's what I've been leaning towards considering how the salary cap destroyed the team. Still hoping the right combo solves the problem and some chemistry is still to be had among the players. At this point in the season though...its just rough.

It will be interesting to see what (if anything) gets done about the Bobby Ryan foot stomp incident. BTW, I did go back and look at that later today when the alcohol was not clouding my judgment and yes, you're right, waiving off the goal was the right call.

What Bobby Ryan did was pretty stupid on his part and he got himself a 2 games suspension (a little excessive, I think). Ducks pretty much had the game locked away at that point. Now the Ducks will have to play both games in Nashville without one of their top offensive players.

Sharks' D is looking awful... on that slapper by Doughty, everyone was scared to block it. WTF? This is for the Stanley Cup you pansies! Grow some nuts and maybe you'll win!

Great article on the Caps' top line 21 yr old defensemen, Karl Alzner and John Carlson which anchor the 2nd best PK and 4th best defense. Apparently they are close friends and do everything together... even shower! Ok, I kid.

The two are also great friends and live in the same apartment complex. They travel to practice and games together every day. Baseball games, basketball games, dinners.

hahahaha yes they were just sitting there staring at him without a clue.

Lol wth... the ref just tripped over the net and hurt his knee with nobody even near him... how embarrassing. NY's trainer is now tending to him.

Ovechkin ties it with the deflection! Wow great game today, holy cow... no goal at the end of the 2nd for NY b/c time ran out, Washington dodged a huge bullet.

wtf Rangers just got robbed.

What channel are you watching it on? NBC never showed the overhead shot with the time, they only showed the center ice angle where the puck was obscured as it crossed the line.

They also showed the green light on when their clock showed 0:00.1, so their clock was apparently inaccurate.

You know they got robbed because NBC never showed the overhead with the time. If the review room has it, so does the network. The call on the ice was a goal, so I would love to see a clear angle that shows it wasn't in before zero.

I don't have a dog in this fight either, but there have been a lot of botched NHL reviews this year.

I have no bias in the Rangers/Caps game.

The replay I saw was not obstructed at all. Looked pretty clear, breaking the plane at .2 and PAST the line by .1

If NBC's clock was off by .1 then I STILL think it was in.

But whatever, not much good has ever come out of the silly "situation room" anyways.

Welcome to the new NHL. Did you see the number of penalties called in yesterdays Flyers-Sabres game? It was one of the worst "hockey" games I've ever seen.

I love the game for the teams and the players, but the league and the officiating are just awful.

It's been that way since the lockout, at least from what I remember.

I don't remember the epic shittiness of officiating back in the Lemuix days, the 97-98 cup seasons, or the 2002 season. Ya there were heartbreaker calls, but at least they were consistent and justifiable.

I only mention the 97/98/02 years because I remember those the best 😉
