IIRC the Giants signed Solder when he refused the Pats offer as an unrestricted FA, it was a pretty hefty deal too, has he sucked in NY that bad?.

The Gettleman-Giants have had a handful of serviceable NFL players and he was (sorta) one of them.... no future though.

Logically I KNOW you are correct about Jones.... not that it's saying much on this team.

I suppose we COULD just allow Jones to be one of the below while we spend ALL of our upcoming high drift picks on linemen to protect the NEXT starter!

Cross your fingers maybe he'll play just well enough for some desperate over-500 team next season to actually give up something of value for him! (not bloody likely)

Thing is I have a strong dislike for that baby-faced bastage ... really I never want to be forced to look at him in a Giants uniform again.

😛 😕
You want the real Eli, not the Chinese counterfeit. 😛

There are a handful of decent players on this team, debatably the best of which is Barkley but at this point I feel he needs to be traded for O-lineman before he gets hurt again and we get nothing.

Daniel Jones is a complete bust and should be released unless we can dupe another team into taking him.

yep. you gotta get rid of Barkley now. He's got ...let's see, David Johnson progression all over him. He's got, let's see, ...er Arian Foster all over him. Priest Holmes, even. His flame burned too brightly, too quickly, and slow-recovered to maybe handle 5 more years of peak performance (lets' say, he'll never be a . Let's see, Frank Gore type dude that churns out 1k for you, at whatever age, for like a decade. I think those people are dead...OK, AP is still trying. haha. ha. ....ha)

Man, I feel bad for that guy (seriously: that list is my top 2 favorite RBs of the last several years, jeust because they played the way they did but burned so quickly, haha. The other would be Kamara. that guy works. He does it all), but you're right. get high value from someone desperate for "life," and get your O=Line in place. (Jets! lolman.....imagine, sending Barkley across the...eh, parking lot? and getting a top 5 pick for him. Man, that would be fun city times for several years!) . You really just can't do crap in the NFL without a Line of Meatshields. You just can't.

The other would be Priest Holmes...but then, well, Kamara is still solid. I mean, that guy works. Yup, you can put Johnny F-ing Unitas back there but if he running for his life in 1.5 seconds he won;t do squat, ditto the run game.

oh my god...what a crusher of a goal-line fumble, return for 6 against Denver. Cripes! Basically a 14-point game swing in one play.

Denver basically, what, 98% chance to go up by EIGHT in the next 3 plays, suddenly drops by 7 on that KC return for TD. holy crap, lol.

sad, Denver was looking great on the last 3 drives--2 Offensive and 1 Defensive stand, they were looking confident.

The most soul crushing type of drive. Team dominates, is in prime position to score, and the other team goes all the way on a turnover. Denver is now in a bad situation.

I had to wait an agonizing 2 minutes for my Surface to wake up, page refresh, and post in this thread about it....the drama over the last 5 minutes has been too much to bear, haha.

If the Steelers do end up facing KC it will be like running into a windmill.

Barring injury to Mahomes I doubt it would even be close.

Cowboys 51 Phil 20

Record set in highest win point gain in Philly so far. Just a few points away from a Cowboys team record anywhere.

Lets do it. 🙂

I'm not even watching.... went with Ravens/Steelers. (and the cheating has started already)
Jax leading Indy right now as well. Believe in Father Rooney's power as a "miracle worker". 🙂

I'm sampling both on my phone. Burger tossed a dumb pick looking like a senior while doing so.

Giants must be tanking going for it and then executing the play that badly....

Didn't see but honestly they are that bad this season, not just the players but the coaching and execution, so it's quite possible it was a legit mess up.

'Bout to head into the city. I just want to see a Giants loss and a Bears loss on my phone later, combined with maybe a Carolina and Jets win if those can possibly help us with Strength of Schedule adjustments in the draft.
