Packers losing to the Lions at half time. I assume they’ll turn it around but really.
Shouldn't they sub out ARodg for the game??

I assumed all the starters were sitting in this meaningless game for GB..... would be foolish for them to risk injury with home-field already locked up.
For some dumb reason, Rodgers wanted to play and the coach didn't have the stones to say no.

I suppose I'm a douchebag if I pull for a season-ending Rodgers injury? 😉

*(but I'm pretty much ALWAYS a DB so..... 😀 )

Probably because they sat once in the past and they got burned.(Was it San Fran?)
How do you get burned in a meaningless game that has no playoff implications?

That's right, you get burned only if one of your key starters gets injured. Because GB has the bye locked up, I didn't have a problem with Rodgers starting and playing a couple series. You can't simulate game conditions in practice. Putting him back out there after halftime is just tempting fate. It's not just Rodgers, but whatever your top players are. Hurry up and get them out of the game.

No matter how badly this bunch performs its reasonable to assume its about the best they're capable of. No need to "tank" when your team completely sucks.

:dizzy:
Surrrre...Golladay didn't put the effort to lay out for the catch on a deep ball where he got open....

Should've kicked the FG instead of going for it that early drive. 51 yards is in Gano's range.

Chris Myers and Moose are being diplomatic but hinting their suspicons of a tank job....

Not playing means "rust" develops. Timing is off, minds are not calibrated. The Ravens got bounced in Lamar's breakout year for the same reason.

Rodgers taking a few snaps in the first quarter to stay sharp is one thing .... playing after that is just dumb.

Consider it an experiment. Rodgers has already chosen self-preservation in the past and wound up humliated....so...if he moves farther...his gambit would have paid off.

I also recall thhe Broncos eschewing extra rest after a failure to advance.

I hate dislike the Packers and have straight-up contempt for that sack of $hit Rodgers so I'm HOPING he gets hurt and can't QB in the playoffs.... couldn't happen to a nicer guy!

However if I were a GB fan I'd be steaming pissed right now.

All right, the backup QB is in the game. I don't even think you need to pull all of the starters en masse. Just identify the 5-10 best ones on both sides of the ball, and limit them to one series after halftime.

Imagine if he'd turned an ankle or something playing today? 😵

LaFleur might be looking for a new job despite the successful regular season.

Much as I dislike the Squealers, this game has been MOSTLY officiated fairly and if there has been any bias its been towards the Ravens. A couple sketchy calls for Pitt in the first quarter but that's it. (so far)

Here's hoping the league/officials can freaking GET IT RIGHT !!!! (whoever wins)

Of course refs don't call PI on Pitt defender who did not turn his head around....

EDIT: I spoke too soon! 🙄

I told ya so. Father Rooney is a football god and they all fear his wrath. They just evolved from the Super Bowl XL travesty to make things subtle.
