Bezos and Jay-Z teaming up to purchase the Commanders?

Hell yeah I'm all in with those two.

My friends and I are currently pooling our resources to buy this team and we think the offer is pretty good right now:

$5 + the entire contents of one of our gloveboxes + 2 used condoms.

I think we're about ready to submit our fair value offer.

You're definitely overpaying

Maybe. Looking pretty scrappy today, though. Washington Football Team fans are definitely fired up with the looming end of Snyder, so could be good value.

But hey, the best conference in Football right now, with the highest conference win-percentage through 8 games ever....I mean, owning a piece of that sounds pretty good, no? 😀

Funny that the NFC East has gone from an embarrassing disaster last season to being considered one of the best divisions in the NFL. (I'm not buying it lol)

Remember you're never as good as you look when things are going well... and to be fair never as bad as when they're going poorly.

Surprise "hot" teams in the first half of the season frequently come back to earth with thud in the second half and finish at or JUST over .500.

I know, but NFCE is always very weird that way. Either the worst division ever, or one of the better if not best, for several years running.

I don't know why, but it seems the best overall divisions seem to be either NFCW or NFCE, with the NFCE managing to put together some historically turdy seasons at the same time. AFC often has very dominant teams, but it's usually without much competition within their divisions.
Of course, part of it is that more than anything, NFCE seems to have some strange ability to win superbowls (well, outside of Washington, lol), even when those teams are kinda shitty. (looking at shitty Eli, lol)

...that's what my memory is telling me, anyway. I could be forgetting a few things.

I only see the Giants as having the potential to actually fall down. Don't see the Cowboys or Eagles really collapsing unless there is a disastrous injury to a key player.

Washington will settle with 7-8 wins in the end like expected.

The only team in the NFC East I really believe in this season is the Iggles.

Dallas is okay but I wouldn't bet on them going deep in the playoffs.

By the way, we all know the Eagles are going to win the Super Bowl. After all, they're the last remaining NFC East team to get one against Buffalo. It's destiny.

Allen looked like a rookie today. Yuck

More the Jets ferocious pass-rush and solid overall defense then bad play by Allen.... although that wasn't pretty for the Bills.

Against any team other then the Jets and the Giants I'd be upset! 😉

No, he wasn't pressured much today compared to any other day. His throws were off, his reads were bad. Both picks were tossed directly to the defender.

Right now IMO the Eagles in the NFC (slam-dunk) and the Chiefs in the AFC (debatable) are the best teams in Football.

And defense wins championships so Philly does have the inside track. 🙂
