I mean having no receivers can't be a big part of the problem right? I've heard that from some so-called QB experts.I haven't watched many games, and Rodgers is certainly not playing well, but he's not the main problem. The problem began when Davante Adams was expected to sign a lucrative extension, but he wanted to go back near the West coast and also fleece the Raiders for $28M per season annual average. On top of that, the now inexperienced WR crew has suffered injury after injury. Kaaron doesn't trust any receiver besides Lazard (who's been hampered) and he throws hissy fits when the kids fuck up. Not a great leader at this point, but at least the Packers seem destined for a top 12 overall draft pick?
Per usual, you don't know what you're talking about. The Packers have an All-Pro RB1, and a very good power back as RB2. Some have called these two RBs the second and third best players on the team (but that's probably ignoring a couple defensive stars). The Packers are pretty bad from top to bottom right now.... it's been a "team" effort!
Even so as much as I dislike Rodgers as a human-being I don't think he's completely washed up yet. It takes more than just throwing the football, downfield, eventually somebody needs to catch it on the other end!
A solid running game really helps too (keeps the opposing pass-rush honest!) and Green Bay doesn't have that going for them either.
Giants are the third most injured team in the league and they're 6-2Per usual, you don't know what you're talking about. The Packers have an All-Pro RB1, and a very good power back as RB2. The Packers unexpectedly lost Davante Adams (and also MVS), and went with a very inexperienced WR crew. On top of that, they've been decimated by injuries more than the average team, which explains their shitty record. If they had good health, they'd probably be 5-4 right now. They just lost their star OLB Rashan Gary for the season, and likely a CB as well. But those are the breaks.

Well that's because you have Daniel Jones, and we have Kaaron.Giants are the third most injured team in the league and they're 6-2![]()

Then you shouldn't have said they don't have a solid running game, because it makes you seem uninformed. 😛 Although all NFL teams have injuries, there's a lot of variance and some teams get hit really hard. If you lose QB1 for the season, you're pretty much done as a contender. The Packers are a terrible all-around football team right now on the field IRL the ONLY place that matters to non-Packer fans.
😉
That was my point.... everyone has injuries.

Although I won't disagree that the Packers are terrible, they've been in some of these games. But it's hard to win when you literally have no WRs to throw the ball to. See the Titans last night LOL.
I don't know why anyone would have expected Ravens/Saints to be a "good" game.Although there have been some terrific games this year so far (like KC/TN Sunday night for example) I'm really starting to think Tom Brady was right and the league overall is in trouble.... there are too many complete "duds" like the Ravens/Saints MNF stinker last night.
While on the one hand nobody wants an NFL where you pretty much know that one of 3-4 teams 100% IS winning the Superbowl before the season even starts like we had in the 1990's, it's also possible to take "parity" too far and end up with a lot of "evenly matched" but boring football.
I would say this season, it's the worst of both worlds.Although there have been some terrific games this year so far (like KC/TN Sunday night for example) I'm really starting to think Tom Brady was right and the league overall is in trouble.... there are too many complete "duds" like the Ravens/Saints MNF stinker last night.

No it doesn't. I generally respect your NFL knowledge, but there are more "franchise" QBs in the NFL now than in most eras. What you're referring to are "elite" QBs, which will always be highly limited. By franchise QB, I mean someone a team will not let go of (the rare exception was when Wash. decided Kirk Cousins wasn't good enough for the money).I don't know why anyone would have expected Ravens/Saints to be a "good" game.
The only "good" games on primetime are TYPICALLY when you have 2 good QB's going up against eachother.
The problem with the NFL right now is there aren't that many good quarterbacks. And I don't really think it's fair to say they aren't good. It's that defenses have just gotten that much better making their job so much harder.
But like, the top guys are gone and/or going out. Breeze and Manning are gone. Rogers and Brady just aren't what they used to be. Who knows wtf happened to Russel Wilson. Big Ben is gone.
The only TRULY good QBs out there right now are Josh Allen and Pat Mahomes. That's really it.
Then you have a few on the next tier like Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurtz seems to be coming into his own as well.
Then maybe you have Kirk Cousins, Dak Prescott, and Matt Stafford in the next tier maybe. Burrow, Tua, and Herbert are still kind of possibly good but still haven't seen enough.
And the you have "the rest" with some of them being higher than others, but none of em are going to lead a team to the promised land without a lot of luck.
I just think the NFL has a QB problem right now.
