this is so f$$$ed up. whats wrong with the new bond, why does he want to change the james bond movies like that. people dont realize that james bond is one of the very very few movies which is watched around the world by everyone, even by people who do not care about watching western movies who dont even understand english. it would be totally absurd if the movie chiefs would agree to this and it changes the charachters role like that too.

I dont mind gays , but i certainly do mind changing the image and characters of a movie.

Imagine adding gays in the harry potter movies to appease all the gays in the world.

I think the actor probably just wants to make sure Bond moves with the times, stays relevant to today's younger generations. This has nothing to do with appeasing gay people. Anyway, there have always been homosexuals in the spy game, think of all the famous homosexual spy shenanigans from Britain and Russia during the 60s and 70s. my homosexuality needs no justification. It just is.

Homosexuality has always been part of the spy underworld, I see no problem with it being dealt with in Bond.

The character doesn't belong to me, you, "the fans." If they want to change it up they should go for it. I hate this b.s. about fans being "owed" something. George Lucas wanted to change star wars? He created it - it's his choice! Sure, the movies sucked but who forced you to go and see it?
