The Bond series has had a least two gay characters.

It was a Sean Connery movie. IIRC, it was "Diamonds are Forever". One characters name was "Mr. Kidd", I forget the other. They were assasins.

Not correct.

MPAA ratings are highly subjective in these areas and context is often strongly considered.

Also "X" is no longer an MPAA rating since it has been replaced with "NC-17"

Actually, I believe they did show a bare boob... Beautiful girl and bond on the beach after a night spent together... Bond makes some comment about breakfast, shortly afterward, the female is run down by the bad guys.
