Take a deep breath. Do some reading. Sleep on it. Start again tomorrow. Ask your Mom if you can push back the build deadline a little.

Seriously I need to order a different PSU? I went with raidmax because it had a rebate and the best price. How long will the raidmax last? I like the LED light in it. If it will last until October then I'll probably keep it. I run my computer extensively though.
LOL. That's a good one...

There are lots of good brand PSUs, but RaidMax isn't one of them. Better get a good one, before it shorts out your rig and burns your house down.

Too big as in too long, too many slots, something else? How did you get the 7950 in there originally if a 7750 won't fit?

By tall do you mean it uses more PCIe slots? Or that the card extends past the edge of the motherboard more? Can you link the exact 7750 and 7950 cards that you have?

Or maybe it would be easier if you posted a picture.

The fan stick out more and it's really close to my wifi adapter and I have no way to move the wifi adapter.

My phone won't take a picture...

Plus the design of it, I don't like it...I feel like it is going to cause problems because the board is exposed unlike on my 7950...

If I don't know why the 7750 that you picked out doesn't fit (and which 7750 it is), then I can't really make a recommendation. I won't have any way of knowing whether or not the card I pick has the same clearance issue.

So to be clear, it's not actually hitting anything solid, you just happen to have routed some cables in between the PCIe cards? I would recommend not routing cables there.

As for shrouded versus not shrouded, it doesn't matter in terms of the functionality of the card. The cooler on the card is sufficient as designed and the card will not explode or catch on fire.

Plus who wants to be stuck with a low end card? LOL

I already have it RMAed and I am returning it tomorrow.

I just need to figure out what card to get in the next 2 weeks so I can get my AMD back up and running.

The cables on my PSU are very short so I really didn't have a choice on the wiring situation so I pretty sure sometime in the near future my whole system will catch on fire, haha.

What card to get depends on what you want to do with the machine. If it's a gaming rig, you could easily spend your entire $230 budget on an R9 270X, but that is overkill for a non-gaming machine.

I mean it won't be the main gaming computer but I will still use it for gaming.

Most of the gaming I will just do on the Intel because I put a shit ton into that build, lol
