I have everything ordered and I just want to make sure everything is good. How exactly will it work taking my 7950 3gb out of my amd putting it into my Intel build? Can I do that without the disk that came with it?
 
Don't ever bother with the CD, as soon as you have internet go to AMD.COM and get the newest drivers. Before you shut down to pull the card uninstall the video drivers.
 
Wait, why did you switch to a Raidmax PSU? Those are horrible. I would advise returning it and going with the EVGA 500 B you originally had listed.

As for SATA, yes all you need are the data cables. The power supply comes with the power cables already attached. The GA-H81.Amp-UP comes with 4 SATA ports, you can use any combination of HDD, SSD, and ODD that you want as long as the total is not more than 4.
 
Seriously I need to order a different PSU? I went with raidmax because it had a rebate and the best price. How long will the raidmax last? I like the LED light in it. If it will last until October then I'll probably keep it. I run my computer extensively though.

Ok what about adding additional case fans? I ordered 3 more because I switched my case to the Raidmax vampire.

Nobody can predict how long any given PSU will last. Raidmax are notorious for having terrible, low-quality power supplies, so it's a good bet that it will die sooner rather than later, potentially taking the rest of your computer out with it. So yes, you seriously need to get a different PSU.

As for the case, what possesed you to spend $110 when you were originally looking at a $50 one? Haven't you completely blown past your "not to exceed $750" budget at this point? You would be much better off exchanging that case for the $50 one you originally picked out and using the $60 savings somewhere else (bigger SSD). I also don't know why you spend even more money on extra fans, the Vampire comes with enough cooling.
 
I got a newegg credit card xD I am sitting at $1200 with everything right now. Ok so I haven't ordered the case yet. I want a full tower with a window under $130 what should I get? I like bright ass lights in cases ( I got none with my AMD case). I want a full tower because I have no clue why. I have a mid tower that's bigger then a mid but smaller then a full for my amd and I just don't wanna end up with something so tiny I am going to spend the whole day cussing it out because I can't navigate. The vampire also has 2.5 bay hot bay WHATEVER THE HELL THAT IS.

What is the best brand for PSU?

The SSD is only going to have the OS.

But I am returning the psu and the 1st case I bought because I saw videos on it after I ordered and was like nope that's crap so I am looking for different case and PSU now.

Are you in some kind of gigantic hurry to get this machine built? For my last build I spent more than a month getting caught up on the current CPU, chipset, memory, SSD and PSU technology before I ordered a single component. And I've been building machines for almost 20 years. Take your time.
 
So somehow the build went from $750 max to $1200 max because you got approved for a credit card? A $1200 build is completely different from a $750 one, but I have no idea how you spent $450 extra.

Why don't you lay out exactly what parts you've purchased for what prices, and we'll tell you what you should keep and what you should exchange.
 
My mom wants me to have it done before the end of the month. So yes there is a rush.

So recommend a good case and I need to know the best PSU brand because at this point I might as well buy the best.

The case I just want something roomy with a window. Lights don't matter.

I want to order tonight because all my other stuff gets her Wednesday so I want my case and stuff by Friday. Raidmax seems to have the best 3 day shipping on cases. I get free 2 day shipping on everything but cases apparently.

The 32GB Sandisk is a cache drive. It works well if you need to keep an old install but not what you would want with a new build. I'd spend $150 for a 240GB SSD.
 
You should have enough SATA cables for an SSD and HDD. The ASUS comes with 2 while the Asrock comes with 4. If you choose the Asus, you might need to obtain another SATA cable for the optical drive; they're not terribly expensive though.
