Well this is a longshot but I'll post here in case someone needs this.

My company is SE Michigan (wolverine territory....) is looking for people with experience in the power generation industry. The positions require experience of greater than 3 years. There might be entry level positions as well but that is rare. So if you are interested, drop me a line. I can guide you. ME and EE peeps only as far as I know but we do work in Civil and Environmental as well (not my area so I don't know the hiring plans).

I didn't get many bites here the last time we were hiring, but it's worth a try.

Chicago, Illinois - Mathematician

Job Summary: Design math models for gaming products and work closely with the game development artists, sound designers, game designers and producers.

Detailed Description

WMS Designs and manufactures video slots, mechanical slots, video poker, etc. We are looking to hire another mathematician. This is the same position I currently hold here, so if you are interested or have questions, PM me.

Contrary to the "Qualifications Required" section you don't need a math degree to apply, but knowledge of statistics and probability is a must. For instance I have a CS degree, and we are looking for someone with strong programming skills. 2 years of experience is also not required.

You don't have to be a gambling afficianado to work at WMS, but it definitely doesn't hurt.

BPMI in Monroeville, PA (outside of Pittsburgh) keeps playing radio ads that they are looking for engineers. I think the focus is on EE's. I work for another company in the same program (Naval Nuclear Propulsion). It's a great program to work in.

Must be a US citizen and be able to get a security clearance.

Hey guys

I have a B.S. in Computer Science and am currently finishing my Masters in Information Technology.

I'm currently working at the level of a Systems Analyst. I do mainly web based applications in ASP (classic), Javascript, PHP (a little .NET). I support many 3rd party applications that are either client/server, n-tier architecture. I work with SQL 2000/2005 and the T-SQL language.

I'm located in baltimore, MD. But willing to travel to columbia, rockville if the price is right....

This really only applies to people who are legal to work in Canada, but the place I just got hired at is looking for a decent programmer, someone who knows .NET well, among other things. Go here for details, it's a decent company, about 20 people right now, although growing quick. All of their software is designed in-house, so they know what they're doing and need someone who can keep up with them.

If you're interested and apply send me a message with your info and I'll mention it to my boss.

Just found out that we're looking for a new salesperson as well. Once again this is a job local in Victoria, it's not something that travels so if you're not willing to relocate don't apply. Even though you'd be selling our gateway processing services it's not necessary to have an extensive background in e-commerce, they care much more about your skills in sales, the rest can be trained. If you're interested and either live here already or wouldn't mind moving to Victoria, send in an email to careers@beanstream.com with resume/cover letter for the sales position. They'd probably want it to start in mid-late June.

I'm in South Charlotte (Rock Hill, SC, actually) looking for something in Television. Been in a corporate IT job for 3 years and hate it. Currently in the last leg of a teleproduction program at a local college. Looking for control room work or engineering, field camera work or editing (fcp experience, learning avid slowly but surely). Would prefer the possibility of on-camera work too. Willing to relocate if the area is good and the pay is decent.

PM me if you have something!
