This is a really big shot in the dark but I'm looking for something in Boston.

I am a student supporting myself but...less than comfortably. I have a lot of real world experience working in hospitals and manufacturing with a huge emphasis on data entry and customer service. Even though I am a student I'm past the 'undergrad' phase and do have a list of references who can vouch for my responsibility.

I'm really looking for something that will pay in the $10-$12 range with dental benefits at a minimum. I know this comes across as something that I should be able to manage on my own off of the boards I'm striking out left and right so I'm putting my neck out here. If nothing else I'd love a level-headed explanation from someone in HR why if nothing else. If you want to flame me for this feel free. Health insurance isn't particularly important for me.

If anyone knows someone that needs an assistant, or a grunt, or can recommend a particularly good temp service in the Allston/Brighton/Cambridge area I sure would appreciate it and if it works out will definitely hook my referrer up with either a gift or reasonable finder's fee. Thanks for looking.

Getting desperate. Still no [decent] job here.

Located in upstate NY, but I am willing to relocate anywhere. I have a B.A. in Mathematical Sciences. I am looking for an entry level position in the financial field or anything organization/analytical. I have some familiarity with C++ and C# and I am extremely organized, well written, and great at multitasking (hence why I'd like some sort of analyst or planning job). If anybody can think of anything at all, PM me:)

I know this company isn't exactly a favorite around here, but having a job is better than not :) Wal-Mart's IT department, between straight-up new hires and replacing people that move - whether they leave the company or simply move elsewhere within it - plans to hire upwards of 700 people over the course of this fiscal year.

They're looking for a little of everything, I think. Everything from programmers - we use VB, C#, and ASP from .NET, Java, and C++, among other languages, in both Windows and UNIX - to DBAs to more business-oriented types, usually to act as 'middle men' between the programmers and the other aspects of the business like buyers, sellers, mid-level managers, and so on.

Long shot but worth a try.

I just graduated in Computer Engineering technology (2 year diploma), and am looking for temporary work(3 - 4 months) in the Alberta, calgary area in the related field until i go back to school. I am also looking for contacts in British columbia, Victoria after those months for part time work in related field.

If your not sure what CET is, its quite similar to CE but more practical hands on.

Central California (Modesto Area) IT company has an opening for a computer service technician to work in our inhouse service department. You'd be working on walk-in computer systems, with the possibility of moving into a retail/small business computer sales position.

Well, just got a certified letter in the mail announcing that on July 28th of this year our center is being shut down. It's funny because of the 15 call centers that do Business Care for AT&T, we're ranked 1st or 2nd every month, for the past 5 years straight. I feel sorry for all of the customers who won't have us to fix their problems anymore, but that's a whole different thread.

Bottom line, looking for work in Victoria, British Columbia, the sooner the better. I've got background in IT/networking, nothing too recent unfortunately, but I'm quick to learn, and have a lot of managerial/customer service experience. Anybody have a line on a job here in the Capital Region let me know :)

Anyone want to come to Google?
Yes, you probably won't become a millionaire from stocks, but will be treated very well. Free food (breakfast, lunch, dinner), massage, bean bags, t-shirts, etc.

Many positions, many locations, look for what you like.

If you have not yet submitted a resume to Google, I'd be happy to refer you!

I'm a College Senior graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in Business Management in May. I'm currently looking for a job preferably in the sales, training, or possibly HR fields (although I'm open to anything). I would prefer to stay in the Chicagoland area or at least somewhere in the midwest, but once again am open to anything.

I do have some previous experience as a senior and supervisor of retail stores (Best Buy most currently), and have been in this industry for about three years.

If anyone has any job postings in the area, please send me a PM and I can forward a resume to you.

Thanks!

Technical Architect
.NET focused. Financial services experience helps, but you should be a systems integrator/web/SOA/ecommerce type - not an "in the trenches" writing custom desktop applications type. Top technical dog, helping lead a total of about 6 .net developers right now.

You either need to be an architect or ready to take the next step.

Pay up to 100K plus incentive, great benefits (401k, pension, 100+ year old company).

Northeast "resort" area, would be perfect for someone looking to get out of the big city and raise a family. Will help with Reloc for the right candidate.
