Could someone list some of the computer related jobs that normally can be conducted from a home office? Telecommute... etc..

I am looking at making a career move more in line with my passion.... computers. I have always worked on computers (since mid 80's), and can do just about anything with them.... but never became certified, etc..

Are the online classes good for becoming certified and degreed?

I was looking at perhaps Systems Analysts or? Also what is a good degree/arsenal for tackling a career in computer related careers.

Thanks!

I will add a listing like that to the original post.

Nearly every job that does not require a person to actually be on-site can be done remote,
other than staff that actually has to have face to face contact with a customer and/or vendor.

Even for example Hospital staff.

There are commercials on TV all the time mainly related to private Institutes that feature training in jobs like these.

Hi,
I'm looking to relocate to Los Angeles area. Recent College grad from December 2007 with a B.S. in Finance, and Logistics/Transportation & Supply Chain Management from University of Maryland: College Park with 3.4 gpa . Looking for leads any type of job related to my field of study. I've been working for the Deparment of the Navy/Defense, as a contract specialist since ive graduated. It's good pay and great benefit (being a federal employee) but my girlfriend is out in Los Angeles as an Illustrator and I would love to move out there with her ASAP. Any help would be appreciated. I've tried job search sites, yahoo jobs or monster jobs, but it caters towards those with at least 2-4 years experience, and i'm looking for a company to start a career with. Any recent college grads from SoCal area with good info, maybe from your school career websites or anything would be really helpful. Thanks so much. I really could use some help!!!
