PROGRAM MANAGER
The position of Program Manager, located in California, is responsible for the execution of the company?s Affordable Weapon System program, meeting all cost, schedule and performance criteria per the program?s current statement of work. Leads, Manages, Plans, Directs, Organizes and Coordinates the program management team and ensures close and constant coordination with the government customer. Provides managerial reports and data as required.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
· Provides leadership and managerial oversight over all program functions to include: Systems Engineering, Financial Management, Contracting and Purchasing, Test and Evaluation, Personnel Management, Safety, Quality Assurance and Production.
· Maintains and adheres to project financial plans, ensures all contractual requirements are performed on time and to the customer satisfaction, reviews and approves all requirements and ensures adequate resources are available to implement required tasks
· Performs program risk analysis and coordinates the development and execution of mitigation plans.
· Coordinates among the Division to ensure successful allocation of resources and achievement of customer and corporate objectives.
· Ensures close coordination and communications between the customer, his representatives and the program management team striving for total customer satisfaction.
· Actively participates in the process related to the selection, hiring, training development, mentoring and assessment of assigned staff.
· Ensures the management of vendors and subcontractors.
An acceptable candidate must possess the demonstrated ability to lead as well as to motivate and organize diverse teams in order to meet program objectives. Additionally, the candidate must be able to implement a customer centric; employee minded; bottom line cognizant management plan and possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Education & Experience Requirements:
Undergraduate degree from an accredited university in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering.
Advanced degree in an Engineering, Scientific, Finance or Business related discipline.
15+ years experience supporting or managing Defense or related programs.
Management of a defense production program desired
