Just because I <3 ATOT so much (and because i'm out of work, hehe) I might as well drop myself into this thread in the 'looking for work' category in the Phoenix, AZ area. I've been doing contract work for the last 5+ years, everything from the University of Phoenix call center to break/fix for laptops at Intel to 'mission critical' desktop support for DHL and the local power company. Have huge resume, will send to valid, non-stalking/psychotic/mass murdering leads.

My gf's dad is a manager in a computer recycle company and he has a few position opening:

1) Outside sales in the city of San Francisco. From what I know is commission based. He need at least one, must have good English and can get orders.

2) IT contractor. Need someone with experience on setting up a local office with DSL/router/cabling/etc all in windows environment, this includes cabling, installing hardwares, etc.

Location is in Hayward, California.

My client is a leading provider of document solutions with expertise in MICR check printing -- offering MICR printers and standard printers ranging in speed from 16 to 184 impressions per minute. They are currently seeking a Senior Software Developer in the Tampa Fl area.

Job Description:
Candidate will have the responsibility for developing, documenting and testing software to be developed for Client Company's internal use and its customers. Candidate will also be testing the software written by other developers. While this candidate should primarily be a software developer with at least 10 years of industry software development experience, this person should be someone who is also capable of writing functional specifications and test specifications.

Qualifications:
.Candidate must have at least 10 years experience working full-time in an actual software development and production environment. Part time jobs, summer jobs, school classes, personal projects, etc., do not qualify for this experience.
.10 - 15% of this time must have been spent in a testing environment in which the candidate executed test plans and procedures, recorded test results and provided detailed feedback to software developers regarding the execution of tests. This candidate should also have experience creating, writing and updating test plans, test cases and test procedures. The ability to create test data files (including binary test data) is required. Much of the software is batch based so this person must have testing experience in batch environments as well as 4GL environments
.85 - 90% of this time must have been spent developing software, including pre-development documentation such as high level or detailed designs as well as post-development documentation such as as-built and user guides.
.Candidate must have ability to work in a team environment and provide support and assistance for multiple projects at the same time. Good communication skills and organization are essential. Anyone know of *any* available jobs in the Columbus, Ohio or Chicago, IL area that someone without a college degree would be qualified to hold? I have plenty of experience w/ everything from proprietary upgrades to helpdesk to network administration... but that doesn't count when you have no college degree. heh

I'll probably start looking at restaurant work in the next week or so, unless I find something else ASAP. :(
