Trying to get back into programming, but will also take a support job. Im currently a Senior Support Specialist, looking for a Level2 or Level3/Management role on a support desk.

You will have a tough sell getting back into the programming field with your current background.

For entry level slots , you will be competing against college grads. Best bet would be to locate a company that will allow you to cross train; Second option would be to go back to school for some refresher course in areas that you are interested in but know you are weak.

Very familiar with all MS Office packages and MS operating systems. Also familiar with many of Adobe's apps (Acrobat, Photoshop, older versions of Illustrator). I have worked with several different ERP systems including Baan, CostPoint, and SAP. I am familiar with ticketing systems such as Remedy and Footprints.

I have also supported server systems, including Citrix and MS Exchange 5.5, but I am not particularly looking for a systems admin role at this time.

I would consider an Inventory/Asset Management position as I have quite a bit of experience working with vendors on various products and services to fulfill the needs of the business that I was working with.

Have you tried IBM? They run callcenter operations out of Raleigh (my company has IBM doing level 1 support through them).

We've had some deadlines shortened so we are a little buried.

Ideal candidate:
good OO understanding, with at least some exposure to C#
expirience with windows programming (i.e. events driven)
web programming a plus, but not required.
Image manipulation knowledge a plus (2D and 3D math, texture mapping, compression formats, that sort of thing, a HUGE plus)

PM me if interested, I'll give you more details

You can work for someone else and when you die to leave nothing behind you or if you could work for yourself and when you die you leave a prosperous business for your kids, I think people tend to work harder if it is their own business. People seeking for jobs in reality they need security and to meet their basic needs, while there is no security in the world except lot of opportunities. This is my thought only, if I am wrong please correct me.

Well, add me to the unemployed list :( :|.. soon atleast

I'm currently employed at a major electronics company, been there for four years as a Web Programmer. Will be let go of by the end of this year as the company is moving down south near the border. I'm also graduating in Dec'05 with a BS in CS from New Jersey Institute of Technology. I prefer somewhere in the tristate area but I'm open to relocation. I'll be available early next year.

Basically, my experience includes developing web applications using ASP/SQL Server. We recently migrated from NT to 2000 and so we are slowly converting our apps to .NET. As such, I have ~1 year of experience in ASP.NET.

Please PM me for a resume and I'll be more than happy to send one.

Cheers! :)

I'm a recent grad(BS in CS) in NY looking for a software development position or a position in computer networking. PM me for resume.

I also got a few friends in the same position, so I'll also refer them your way if you got any positions.

Travel and relocation are not an issue.

Previous thread may count.

Also, search engines could be incrementing the count.

Either way - exposure is benificial.

Not that anyone necessarily wants this job :p But Best Buy in Raleigh needs a bunch of people. Specifically store #299 (Crabtree Valley Promenade on Glenwood Ave.) Specifically I know they need Car Audio sales, but I think they have numerous other positions available too.
