I used it to express the fact that I wouldn't care either way. The word "indifferent" comes to mind... my friend.

The word "sociopath" comes to my mind. As long as you're not involved, who gives a shit, right?

In this case, yes, that's right. I have gotten beyond the point of caring -- I truly did care for much too long -- to the point of indifference.

I'm tired of being dragged into the pits of blood and despair by a bunch of children in the ME who can't grow the fuck up and get along like civilized people. The "he started it!" bullshit has grown old and stale, and the rest of the world has been paying the price for it for far too long.

Put all of them in a cage and let them duke it out. Last man standing wins the land and the peace. Fuck it.

So then, is it simply a lack of intellect that kept you from acquiring any more than your superficial and ill-conceived understanding of the conflict all that time?

Then Kylebisme claims to be a FACT junkie.......but fails to leave out the only facts he is interested in are the ones that apply to mhius own personnbal reality and we all know how that goes...just look at his 9/11 thread.......when he can`t defend himaself he iether ignores the real facts or he makes statements like
It means allowing people to the freedom to vote for or against a new investigation as they choose, rather than having that choice stripped from them by the powers that be.
or---
We've got conclusive proof that the official conspiracy theory is false, the most flagrant example presented in the OP. You on the other hand have your head buried deep in the sand to ignore anything of the sort.

so sad.....

No sadder than you and your cronies acting as apologists for war crimes. Still, it was just a bunch of Palestinian civilians, including scores of women and children, so who gives a shit, right?

When you put it that way..of course i agree with the who gives a shit mantra.....
War is war!! there is no such thing as a lovydovey nice flower power war!!

As you haven't explained why you make bullshit arguments like the ones I called you on quoted below, you've left me to guess here. Alternatively, please explain how you've come to spout such nonsense?:

From the looks of your arguments, you never truly cared, but rather are just an ignorant bigot.

I know that Israel has returned the land. But in my convoluted world, Israel can do no good!!
From the looks of your arguments, I cannot contest the truth! I must admit that I am an ignorant bigot.

Corrected in the name of facts and faith!!

guys I hate to agree with the skins on anything but I have fatigue on this issue. I have lived my entire life with some crap going on over there and its just tiring. I really do wish they would settle the damn thing already. Both sides clearly fail at anything they are trying to accomplish. Wtf were they thinking when they gave that land away after ww2. They should of given the jews Cuba or something nice like Austria.

Try not to ever let your fatigue get in the way of remembering the issue, the justice and suffering of the people involved. An American being fatigued shouldn't result in any flippant dismissal of the issue - since America has so much role in the policies. The issue is being run by selfish interest and might makes right currently, and we should all try to get that improved. They have a lot more reason for fatigue than Americans, and probably explains some of the irrational violence.

Fatigue is dangerous - it creates things like 'oh, Africa is just always going to be hungry, sick and poor, I give up' - or the same with slavery when it existed.

There's enough bias for getting used to injustices in human nature without fatigue further doing it.

I thoroughly agree with the sentiment you have expressed: over exposure in the media may have led us all to varying degrees of indifference to the horrors around us. However, as you suggest, if being an American means or ever meant anything, I suppose it could be that: refusing to remain indifferent in the face of injustice.

I guess I'm just not good enough. I honestly think that we will blow each other up in some way until the sun turns off. I won't be apart of that myself and I think our nation shouldn't take sides in the matter. I also think that these countries should and will face the consequences of their actions. If Israel decides that the final solution is the way to go I think the rest of the world would come down on them. But it's easy to hate, especially when your brother, mother, father or sister was killed by the offending party. I would love to see these people "turn the other cheek" but we know all that religion shit is only there to keep control, nobody actually listens to it.

Being American just means we won the lottery and get to live lives that we either waist or do something with.

You are pathetic.
You know it`sd not that simple.
Yet there are children killed in wars.
You also know that children are NOT targeted by any nation that is at war on purpose.
Yet the sad fact is that civilians, and children are civilians for the most part do get killed.

There is no such thing as a war that you fight to draw even.
You fight a war to win a war.
Sadly there are those who claim that you fight a war using rules that hamper any attempt to win the war!!
Hopefully if both parties have weapons of mass destruction they are civilized enough to not use them.
Was using the A Bomb something we should have used on Japan?
The jury is out on that one. There is a case for not using it as well as using it!

Why do you keep saying this? You have been "at war" for like 30 fucking years! There isn't a fail boat big enough to hold the idf in. On what planet is waging a entrenched war where both sides continually hate each other more and more remotely close to winning anything?

I'll prequalify my following statement with, I don't believe we should be tied to the Israeli's in any way, including allowing American money to flow to them. Essentially, treat them as a terrorist organization, along with the Palestinians. However...

Your quoted statement is just dumb.

The IDF hasn't been at a "stalemate" for 30 years because they fail, it's because if they were actually allowed to wage war against the Palestinians, unchecked, there wouldn't be any Palestinians left.

On a side note what is disproportionate force in a war?? You play to win.....you don`t play to draw...lol

What do you expect to win, the Hitler Prize for extermination? You laugh out loud? You are as sick as the shameless leader you support. The heinous acts committed by Israel during its last excursion into the Gaza Strip are comparable to the worst war crimes committed in human history. Bombarding civilian areas is not war.

IDF propaganda at its worst.

2 nukes dropped on Civilian cities (Japan) killing 100s of thousands women children and the elderly .

White man speaks with forked tongue.

Well if any nation has the right to defend itself, surely that applies to terrorists and Palestinians who are equally justified. Just wait for that day when terrorists acquire the means to deliver totally illegal chemical and biological weapons into Israel. Sad to say, that day is fast approaching. Iran probably already has that capacity and is not using it, if Israel bombs Iran, would Iran then have that right to use such illegal weapons against Israel?

And if Israel is above the law, why should not Iran be?

Israelis are the chosen ones... Different rules apply for Israel than their neighbors.

Abraham had 2 sons one with the a decendent of CAIN a handmaden the other with very old wife sarah . The Cain decendent was first born had 12 sons I believe . The true heir to Abraham . The second a jew also 12 sons . 2 sons that each had 12 sons that fathered 2 nations . Seems to me this is a family affair . We should stay the hell out of it .
