Some needs to put this link in every thread he makes.

Him and his brother in law are off in a super market berating old ladies with every deragatory comment under the sun while cackling like evil scientists.

A couple of months ago my nephew got into an argument with his rabbi at their Jewish school. The rabbi was telling him the story of Moses and how he parted the Red Sea so that the Jews could escape from Egypt. Anyways, he told the rabbi "You know, I've been on this earth for ten years and I've never seen anything like this." The rabbi proceeded to tell him how this was an act of G-d, etc... The rabbi may have said some other things. He then told the rabbi to "Go fuck yourself".

He thought the resident atheists were gonna give him a great big round of applause for having a little brat for a nephew. Looks like everyone agrees that manners trump theology in this case though.

I didn't think there was much to add to this thread. I expected it to die last night but it keeps going... Anyways, his parents made him apologize to the rabbi and they put him in another school, mainly to learn Hebrew. I told him what he said was wrong but his feelings were right. Next time, he should choose his words carefully.

So why if this happened two months ago did you just post about it last night? Just curious is all.

Because I just heard about it. The family is very private and the mother was shocked and embarrassed about it. She's known the rabbi for years. FWIW, their private imbroglio has been resolved and they felt they could tell others. I found it funny enough to laugh. That kid us sharp. Now he just needs to channel his thoughts in a manner that can express his feelings without hindering his prospects.

Hopefully your nephew has learned a lesson. And thanks for answering.

I was laughing as I read this thread because I agree with others in that he needs to get into a good fight. But in these types of school, the biggest drama is when kids call each other names or throw off their yarmulke. There's nothing better than getting your nose bloodied to respect others. A beating from your parents just isn't the same.

Give my gramma 5 minutes with the kid and one of her switches. She made you personally go out back and pull one off a tree. Being a kid, I thought "I'll grab a little one. It won't hurt as bad!" Yeah...the little ones whip through the air and sting like hell.

Its really important to remember how much little kids pick up. They know when you are just pretending and when you are being seriously nice to someone. They for sure remember every word you say. My son and nephew were riding with me when they were about 3 or 4. Some guy cut me off and I let out a good old "You dumb mother fucker!" I had to explain to my sis and my kid's mom their new favorite phrase :( Now that my son is older, the rule is that I am only allowed to swear when I am driving or playing video games. He made that one up for me. He is still much too timid to swear around me.
