I seem to recall that with Starcraft you could install the game on another computer and they could play multiplayer with you, without actually needing the disc. Was that SC, or am I thinking of something else?
Yeah that was Starcraft, the fact that you only needed one legal key was awesome.

Damn it. I was hoping you would make a ridiculous thread where you make a really emotional plea for a free GPU for your kid for Christmas. You could have included a pic of an empty refrigerator and said you have no money and it would have been great. I would have swooped in with a badass GIF of some dude saving someone and I would have then...well if you want to know what comes next, you know what to do.

Oh the shoes...the shoes...no shoes on Christmas!
They'res no food in da cupboards,
no gas for the stove....
'need a miracle this christmas
or least some graphics love...
can't pay our bills,
mama stuck on pills..
need fuel for our fire,
we down to the wire....
worse thing of all is just stockings on the feet...
some gtx luvin' sure would be sweet...
my boys would be psyched,
they don't want no BIKE!
its all about luke and leia,
but daddy is no playa..
no shoes on this christmas....just the lame-a$$ blues....

Just wanted to post some Karma for Teizo....the cards got to me superfast and were packaged perfectly. I installed them today and they are running great. My kids are going to love playing SW BF on xmas. Thanks Teizo!!

note: SW BF runs just fine on the G3258 cpu...if anyone wanted to know

Heartwarming story, just in time for Christmas. Congrats to shredz and his kids and I'll second the karma to Teizo. Too bad this forum doesn't have a karma system, so I guess our words will suffice ;)

shredz got a sweet deal as perfect budget stop-gap before a major CPU/platform overhaul is required on his son's rigs.

Thanks man! Glad they arrived fine and are working well! Those cards have a bit of life left in them yet.

I wish I had a game like SW:BF growing up to go alongside the original Star Wars Trilogy. It's a good time to be a kid :D

Yeah, when I was watching the new star wars movie with them I was thinking how great it will be to take them to the new movies maybe every december in the coming years...and how they will look back on those days when they are older. Hopefully they really do keep putting out new movies and they continue to be good ones. bye bye Jar Jar
