My Supra, up until a week ago when it blew the head gasket at 17 years of age and 200k miles.
Out of curiosity, is yours a turbo, and did you retorque the head bolts? Lots of MKIII Supras were notorious for having inconsistently torqued head bolts, which caused the HG to blow prematurely, especially on the turbo ones. I am assuming you are going to keep the car and change the head gasket?
While we are talking about bullet-proof straight six engines, the Jeep Cherokee my father gave me has proven to be quite tough. Chrysler was quite wise to stick to that AMC design and add there own electrical system. I can't say it has never let me down, as an electrical problem has ironically left me stranded before. However, when it does work, the torque is quite gut, and the 4wd system is top notch for sure.
I guess as far as material things go, I have either lost most of my stuff, or it has failed. In fact, I think the longest time I have owned anything has been a little ceramic owl statue for over 10 years now. So I guess the only thing I have observed that FLAT out works every time has been the thermonuclear action of the sun, and gravity.
