So much listed in above posts is mainstream and popular. Just because it's old doesn't mean it wasn't talked about. The Jerk, are you kidding, Steve Martin nearly got an Oscar nomination for that.

I have the bolded in my neflix queue. Ive seen all his other movies and love em. Probably my favorite writer/director.

It's their best movie imo, in fact it is definitely one of my favorites all time. Like all their movies (except Alien Resurrection) it is INSANE and AWESOME! Cute hilarious, dark, yet supremely warm and inviting. They are masters of quirk.

I just saw Micmacs recently. Was WAY better then i expected. I still laugh to myself when i think of him pretending to clean his teeth in the window. I own City of Lost Children which i love. Amelie' is also great and quirky.

But yeah Alien Resurrection should be strucken from the records lol What was he thinking.
 
Amateurs w/ Jeff Bridges was a cute movie. It's about a couple guys in a small town that try to round up townsfolk to create their own porn movie.
