Personally, while I love the look of the S5, the S4 is probably a more well rounded vehicle in almost every aspect. It's about 6-8K cheaper, much better fuel economy, just as fast, has 4 doors, same suspension, active LSD, transmission and so on. You can also get a nice factory warrantied tune installed at the Audi dealership if you want to get more boost. I know you are looking for an used car, but I'm sure a year newer S4 good be had for the same price as the S5.

Don't really want a four door. The charger only qualifies because I like the look of it a lot.

Not necessarily looking for used car though...these are the ones I like and that fit my price range.

It's an A3 hatch...she originally wanted the GTI until she saw the A3 next to it.

But yeah I am doing my research now...her main criteria is she wants a hatchback but not really a station wagon.

Indeed I will, an Audi A4 hatch in July will be first...then my car right after that.

Don't worry emo kid, I will send you an update!
An Audi hatch, not really as baller as you keep making it out to be, is it? And 'in July'? Christ, I can only imagine how many more of these tiring threads you're going to troll us with over the next two months.

Never said it had to be a four door for dogs. I do want a back seat for at least getting 3-4 adults to a lunch or dinner (short distances).

LOL @ you knowing that many people would want to spend a lunch or dinner with you....let alone like you.

Ok DBZ. You can only make the same point so many times before we call troll on your ass. Alky is doing his thinking on the forum out loud. If it bothers you that much just step on our of his thread.

We've all gotten our teasing in now let him get his advice.

Of those three then I'd vote for the Audi S5. It's the sexiest looking out of all of them. M3's are everywhere and so are Chargers. You'll be less likely to look over at the light and see one of those. It's probably got the same interior dimensions as your 240 though. If that's no good, why not look at a used S6? I'm thinking a used one of those ought to be in your price range and nothing sais baller like a V-10.

I'd say the Charger just because it doesn't seem like you want an M3 that badly, and with the Audi, you're already going to have one for your wife, so if you get a hankerin' to drive one just take hers. Plus, depending on the color scheme, some of the SRT8s look really badass.

As you can see, I have little knowledge of what I'm talking about but those are my thoughts. :)

The Audi hatchback is a really nice car, not sure what you mean by that. Personally I think it's a bit pricey for it's segment.

Personally I like the looks of the GTI better, but my wife likes the A3. She also wants a four door. The car is within the range I gave her (yes I am paying for this car, we maintain separate finances).

I don't see how you'd think I am trolling. I have made it pretty clear here the amount I have been paying towards debt over the last couple years and in July it's all paid off.

I have burned through about $45k + an addition $15k or so in expenses in two years time. My payments to this debt as of the last few months have gone from $1500 to over $2500.

That $2500 is pretty much disposable income now. I have been still saving and contributing to my retirement. My goal though is to only use $1000-1250 of that money towards cars and just save the other $1500ish each month.

Considering over the last 5 or so years I have more than doubled my income, more people than not are telling me I am probably looking at too low a price range.

I just don't see the value in spending much more especially when I end up customizing my cars anyway.

Nah, I think I hit the nail right on the head. I am not mad. I don't need to "go burn out in my mustang". If anything, I am saddened by your pathetic ways. Now run along and pretend to buy one of the mentioned cars in this thread when more than likely you'll be down at the used car lot picking up a nearly rust free 1994 Cavalier on a 5 year loan.

The biggest problem with the SRT8 compared to the M3 is it's mass. I am coming from a 2 door couple that weighs in at 2750lbs. I can corner at over 1g and brake from 80 to 0 in ridiculously short distance...

The SRT8 would take a major amount of mods to do the same...the M3 more or less out of the box. Plus the ride quality of the M3 will be much better than the SRT8 once modified.

The SRT8 will be much better as a cruiser though and a lot roomier.

It's a hard choice.

Just for the record...I currently own a 1998 Nissan 240SX, your comment that I'd go and finance a 1994 Cavalier is pretty moronic.

Seems like you are buying this car more for fun than for utility. So my only advice would be to test drive them all and see which one excites you the most. Don't worry so much about what other people are driving and how "rare" your car will be.

Your belongings mean nothing to me. I could give 2 fucks what you own. Although, I have always like that style of 240SX. I had a 240SX back in the day. Fun to drive. Too bad your car is driven by you....what a waste of a nice car.

Chargers are about as rare as palm trees around here. Then again so are BMWs and Audis.

I've noticed the same guy commuting in a Dodge Viper lately. Now that's rare!

Considered a Volvo S60R?

(heaven forbid someone suggest a Volvo)

four door. The charger has been the only four door I have liked. The older M5 are interesting but the mileage is a deal breaker.

2012 Charger SRT8 seems a no brainer over a 2010. Much better interior, more power, better mileage, paddle shifters, much better audio system, very cool uconnect touch system...
