So why don't you want to live with your girlfriend?

Of course I like privacy, and that is why there is a rule in L&R not to post what is contained there in other forums. L&R is only visible if you log in for privacy reasons.
I have my reasons.

That wasn't a threat. You're the one who over-analyzed my statement about not wanting to live with my gf. I figure you wouldn't mind explaining certain things to YOUR SO. Oh, but maybe you like some privacy yourself, right? Right?

Don't assume you know everything.

Jesus Narmer stfu already. You made an indirect threat toward her, and she turned it around on you. You are making a complete ass of yourself right now.

Signed,
MARRIED

The word "trained" would have me mad too.
He is 100% whipped more than likely.
If she had not said that, he could very well just have grown up like the others have said.
My ex used to say she was "training" me. I broke up with her. That is not cool, people do not change!!!!!

A certain ex used to make all kinds of comments about how we would have to move "when" we got married, because my place wasn't suitable for kids, crap like that. She had lots of plans, but since she was a broke grad student studying something useless (history) all of her plans conveniently involved money that I was going to earn. Getting rid of her was tremendously satisfying.

Wow... Is this me from a parallel universe? Aside from the history, sounds exactly like my ex (she studied english which got her no where)

ftfy. Does your wife have a leash for you?

Oh I see what you did there! You changed what I said to something you perceive a witty, and then tried to pass it off as if I said it myself. Epic zing! Obviously I'm whipped because I think you're a 15 year old boy trapped in a man's body.

Too bad you're too dumb to really understand what Mosh was saying to you. You got confused when all she did was turn the table on you. Are you really that simple? Oh wait... almost forgot the "ftfy"... gotchya 😎

I'd be pissed at the term "trained" too. To me, it's as sexist as a man assuming his wife will stay at home, cook and clean for him and raise his kids for him.

It's healthy for couples to work on changing habits that annoy their partner, but "training" suggests that aforementioned wife is using her feminine wile and vaginal hubris to get her husband to be the man she wants him to be, which is an extremely offensive idea that is sadly in fairly wide practice.

You miss your best friend, don't you?

You are jealous of their relationship in that you are cut out of it. You don't have your friend to hang with anymore.

This logic is used by far too many women to justify the domestic castration in their weak-willed men

----------------------------------------------------

On a side note, ladies, if your man wants to watch a baseball game or see an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie or play some flag football every once in awhile, let him do it - and without making snide little comments or giving him stink-eye glares like soooooooo many do. Lord knows you wouldn't tolerate it if he did the same every time you got your nails done or went to bed bath and beyond or read a romance novel.

Is your wife a ventroliquist? Cause I swear only women talk like this. So, does your leash have your name on it? Does she allow you to go out and play? Do you get an allowance?

Semi-related joke:

"For every dollar a man makes, a woman makes 70 cents. That doesn't make sense, that's not fair, the man's only left with 30

First and foremost, let's not forget the state of mind the OP is in. Despite however old he may be, his posts indicate he's a juvenile little man who's just disgruntled over his friends growing up and moving on.

Second, while I don't doubt his friend's wife has used the term "trained," most women just say that as a joke (even if it's a tired one). I have a huge circle of friends who are all married, and the women frequently joke about training their husbands, and the husbands frequently joke about making "their women" cook and "satisfy" them. My wife and I pull the same shit with each other. They're all cool, no one is actually a slave to their spouse nor have they been metaphorically castrated.

For all we know, the OP is just lacking a sense of humor or just can't see it for what it is through his jaded boy-goggles.

Before his friend was married, it was probably a toss up between watching Fight Club for the 29th time or putting up with the OP throwing Skittles in the movie theater. But now that his friend is married, the OP simply can't compete with the combination of pussy and mature friends that are both now available.

I love how you never actually address what's been said to you, you just try (and fail) to tap dance around it. I especially enjoy how Mosh confused you with your own insult. Good stuff!

Ironic that you criticize a woman's penchant for avoiding logic and reason 😉

Given the maturity level of your posts, I can't possibly imagine why your circle of friends is shrinking before your eyes 😀

No cop out. What could I possibly gain by arguing with someone like you? Besides, I've yet to meet a woman that uses reason as her weapon of choice when it comes to arguing.
I wasn't arguing when I asked you why you wouldn't move in with your gf even though you said she asked you, and you resisted until she gave up.

Do you even like women? You haven't said anything reasonably nice about your friend's wife or your gf in all of this thread. What do you like about women or your gf for that matter? Anything at all? Because your misogynist attitude is all I've read in this thread so far.

Ehh ... so your friend is whipped. Consider it a lost cause. He's gotta figure his shit out on his own, not with you nagging him.

Hey, my SO is doing an interior design graduate degree...am I in the same boat as you? I am doing an MIS graduate degree.

I'm not sure where you're trying to go with these questions. Yes, I like women. They're good for certain things. If you have the right attitude and frame I might like you too. And if you're lucky we can meet again.

you're not my type.

You and your large circle of married friends? You guys aren't difficult to find. I just have to follow the trail of tears.

Seriously, if you're happily married and don't mind being tied down, handcuffed, and sleeping with the same person for DECADES, then more power to you.
