rules are rules, deport the whole damn family...
you come to my country and don't abide by our laws, then your ass goes home.
i don't care if he's been here for 50 years. fvcking illegal Immigrants. no excuses!
his family knew they were breaking the law, so now they pay the piper.
so he was wasting my tax dollars on an education, probably using other resources of my government to boot.
come here legally and stay legally or get the hell out!

why are they in trouble again? oh yea i remember! because they broke the law!
don't be mean to them, they only disregaurded or rules and regulations for 15 years!
that is a slap in any legal immigrants face! not to mention true americans.
they knew what they were doing and thought they could get away with it.
now that the've been caught, they are all, oh poor me.
no shame and no regretts when i say:
FVCK THEM ALL!

What I find troubling is the fact that he got to go to school here, most likely never paid taxes, or had to do jury duty or anything. This person should have taken it upon themself to get legal a long time ago. He had plenty of time. I feel fo you, I would hate to lose a friend (especially a patriotic one), but if he really cared about this country, he would have registered and got legal ASAP.

Hmmm, he miss a good chance to apply for LPR using 245(i) a couple years back. Don't know exactly whats going on, but if he already has a lawyer since back then, thats pretty messed up.
If he's going to special registration, chances are he'll be locked up pending deportation proceeding since he has no adjustment process pending or underway. They might allow him to post bail before the case goes to immigration judge though.
As for deportation, afaik, BCIS will issue you a one way ticket to your home country.

No doubt the tone is harsh, but he got as much right to voices his opinion as much as other people thats fed up on how welfare is being abused.

Agreed. Please point out, however, where elzmaddy said his friend was on welfare. Or how he was wasting tax dollars. GroundZero was making idiotic assumptions about someone he knows absolutely nothing about. The act's of a child or an immature individual

It is irrelevant whether or not they can work. Their "need" does not take precedense over my freedom to do what I will with my hard earned money. Even if they "cannot" work, it does not become my responsibility unless of course you are an advocate of socialism and believe that people are entitled to the labors of others at the cost of freedom. :)

Tell him to get married damn it. There has to be a desperate woman out there somewhere! Maybe he's still underage. He should hook up with someone so that when he does reach 18 it's time to get married! Then he's back. People seem to do it all the time.

if this person cannot join the military because of not being a legal resident then it also follows that he cannot have a social security number and therefore does not pay taxes. i never said that they were on wellfare, but if you cannot leagly work here then you are draining the tax base on several fronts, not necessarily wellfare. ie. you use our government services without paying for them, police, fire, medical, education, etc...
i may sound harsh towards people like this, but is there any other way to treat them without condoning their actions?
i am all for legal immigration and adding to this great nation, but wholeheartedly against any and all of the people who use and abuse our nation. a slap on the wrist and a "bad boy" just doesn't discourage others from going the illegal way...

His needs are not affecting your "hard earned" money. It is not your responsibility to support his friend. It is your responsibility to pay your taxes. And again, where did he say that his friend was living on welfare? Try to stay on the topic if you possibly can.

Absolutely nothing should be done from the government's standpoint. If they have family or frieds to take care of them, fine. Ultimately it is their own responsibility and if they cannot meet it, that is not the government's problem. (unless however this disability was acquired from service in the armed forces, in which case Uncle Sam should take responsibility.)
