So sorry. My wife is dealing with the impending death of her father from cancer, so I know how hard this must be for you.

My sincerest condolences for you and your family. I couldn't begin to imagine what you'll have to go through, so I just wish you the best. Remember that - no matter how impossible this is - nothing is gained by mourning the loss. Just be happy that you had such a wonderful father and that you were able to spend however many years of your life with him.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my dad to cancer a few years ago and your thread here brought a tear to my eye. It's funny how you never forget and the pain never totally goes away. But it does subside. Good luck.

Try to remember, that even in passing, his strength will live on with those he touched with it.

After taking care of my Father who had Lou Gehrig's disease for six months, I gained alot. He had the strength to die just as how he lived, passioniately. Best to you and your family.
