By the way I have an update for you people. This morning I had to drive my mom to work and spend $30 on gas. Then I had to give her $10 for lunch. THEN when I got home the gardener had to be paid, so I had to give him another $60. I'm getting shafted left and right today! All of that on TOP of my dad taking my car. Ok, this is really starting to suck.
That's it. This is just too damn stupid to be real. I'm calling Skoorb Effect.

I'm gonna agree with you here, no one is THAT FVCKING STUPID!!! (God I hope not anyway)

Ah, I am so glad this day is over I shelled out $100 today but I'm getting $150 from my dad on Friday and everything is back to normal. By the way, most of you people don't realize that I offered my dad $150 for a rental car, it wasn't all just about the money.

I don't know, man. Here's how it looks to me, anyway:

Your dad, who provides food, shelter, money, etc wants to borrow your car. You don't want him to because you don't like to loan your car out. The point is that your dad has every right to take it. Maybe not legally, but morally. When you live with your parents, you play by their rules. It doesn't matter why you still live with them, you just do.

Maybe your dad was trying to test you? To see if you'd just let him have the car. Even if he's not, what could he possibly do to your car that would negate everything that he's done for you?

I think that you'll realize that this is a stupid thing to get worked up about. In the big scheme of things, it's really a non-issue.

150 miles and hes worried about a 1999 lumina?

Be glad you dont drive a 1989 wrangler with 98k that you put over 7k in repairs in the last 2 years. THEN you should worry about 150 miles of continuous driving.

Damn.
Pay me $150 and i'll drive your dad there in my car. I dont care. $150 in cash now is worth more than $150 in repairs later. Simple economics.

Do you live in Southern California? The trip is already over anyways though.
