LOL I just read the thread... I didn't know it was such a riot in here.. I should've joined in. I don't think he'll have the guts to come back after all the harsh but righteous replies. :D

Well, that day is now over..did you survive the incredible agony and embarrassment of driving a minivan for a mere day?

I wasn't going to mention this but it was tough. You see I had to drive to my college in the van and I had to park near a high school. Well the high school got out the same time I did and when I walked over to my van to drive away some high school kids were snickering about my van. It sucked. I was really embarrassed when I pulled out of there.

I dont think theres a chick will be turned on by the Lumina either. So you had nothing to lose. Just be glad that you did go to school for education so that in the future you can move out.

1) You're really joking (I sure as hell hope so)
2) You're the most ungrateful, whiny, spoiled little sh!t that ever walked the face of the earth
3) You really are Jerboy
4) You should be sent to Baghdad as a human shield and wind up with a cruise missile up your arse

lol... I'm banking on number 1 after thinking about it for a bit now, but I wouldn't be suprised at 2 or 3, which would lead me to conclude 4 :)

lol at this whole thread. this kid definitely is in it for the attention. who can say, he may be serious, he may not, but its beside the point. even if he was serious (i do hope he isn't :( ) how many of you would post that chit, not wanting attention. i hope your enjoying it, mebbe some of it will soak in (doubt it).

2 things.

That's ridiculous. Do you know how much money/time your parents spent for you? Just for borrowing your car (which did he buy or you?). Anyways...

I don't like my dad driving my car because he pushes it too hard, his motto is drive it untill you kill it and get another one, he bought me this car so I don't complain too much, but he won't buy me another, so I like to take care of it.

Your relying on the car to do the "turning on" because you have no chance at turning a girl on yourself. The only way you will turn any chick on regardless of the car is by waving money in front of her, and thats if she is standing on the corner.

This has got to be one of the nicest Skoorb effect hreads I've ever seen :D

All that said I must wonder what I did wrong,my daughter not only lends me her car ,she even comes and picks me up at ungodly hours simply because she thinks it's been too cold out for me to be traveling alone and she worries about the lack of security at the parking garage.

WTF you have an entire WING of the house to yourself at no charge to you per month and you bitch and moan about your dad putting 150 miles on a car that he paid 2/3s of???? Dude I WISH my parents were that generous, not to say that they haven't been but I pull my own weight. Perhaps you should learn a life lesson yourself & have to pay room and board. I kid you not my parents have me pay room and board although at $200 a month for basically a floor of the house to myself it's a more than reasonable rate. Do you even pay insurance on the vehicle? Give me a break already, it's kids like you that have everything purchased for them and still bitch & whine that really have me worry about your generation. Oh and before you even try and imply I'm something like you here's what I currently pay (no I'm not going to list amounts):

ISP access fee
Car Insurance
Car payments on 2002 Dodge Stratus SE (second car, almost completely paid off 1996 Corsica before I traded it in)
Room & board
College loan
All of my computer equipment, stereo equipment, etc.
And various sundry other items.

Believe me very little of what I own was given to me as a gift or otherwise, all of my major purchases were done COMPLETELY on my own and I believe I'm better for it. If my dad wanted to drive my car for whatever reason, although I doubt it as he drives a 2001 Nissan Maxima, I wouldn't hesitate to hand him the keys and let him drive away. Even though the car is being paid by myself I wouldn't even contemplate charging him a penny, not even for gas. He has given me far too much, not all that can be accounted for monetarily, to charge him for a little thing like driving my car a few hundred miles.

Frankly if your dad walked into your area of the house and told you that he was going to start charging you room and board I would personally give him a round of applause. You obviously need to learn a few things about life and perhaps the charge for room and board would help a little bit.

Hey could you give me some pointers on just how 'wrong' you raised your kid? If/when I ever have a kid I'd love to have him/her turn out just like that :)

AMEN.

I bet if his dad start charging him monthly fee for his room, his first thing will jump onto ATOT and post a rant about it.

I am also a college studet... I worked very hard to pay for my own car a 300ZX. I goto college, live in a dorm, attend classes, take many more hours of credit then one "hard" math course, and 6 hours of homework a week for one course isn't really that bad. Everyone around here makes $5-6 an hour minimum wage, because my college is in bumfuck nowhere. You are one sad sack of sh!t my friend. Don't ever b!tch about your dad wanting to borrow your car. I hope he kicks you out and you can live on ketchup and water to make tomato soup. You give us sad college students a bad name.
