wtf, what happened to my scrollers?

Try resetting your theme to the default theme, click FF, then reopen it. I noticed that my themes caused my scrollbar to go away (my wife lost her navigation buttons).

Sweet, goodbye IE hello Mo!

And on that note, anyone have a good way to remove IE on a Xp pro install?

I have had quite a few bugs like that thus far, but I'm not gonna hold it against Mozilla. I will wait it out because my Firebird 0.7 works just fine for my needs 😀

I've heard quite a bit about scroller bars and similar problems. It looks like it's the result of a plugin/theme problem, and the best bet is to delete your profile (back up your bookmarks first). It seems to have fixed it for just about everyone.

I just downloaded it and tried it for the first time....this is a lot faster than IE. I love it. Thanks

saying mozilla is better then IE is like saying a ferrari is better then a kia...

thanks for the news! and FREE is always the HOTTEST deal

Doesn't do either. It's more user-friendly, though. Does the install for you and everything. The previous Firebird simply unzipped to a directory, .exe and all. NO setup file, so you couldn't really uninstall it, only delete it.

hey guys....what is the huge difference between it and IE? If it is faster on certain machines (what is "faster"- i assume it means when you initially load it up) then what kind of machines are you guys using l😉 I'm using a 2400+ and I'm interested because of all the hype I'm noticing, but if it just has a smaller footprint in memory...than 😛 b/c I got 512 megs of ram and gaming has become a thing of the past for me so I'm hooked up just fine

But does it load faster....what doe sit offer than makes it better than IE?

to name a few:
Tabbed browsing...kinda hard to describe why this is cool, but once you start using it you'll see why. makes forum reading awesome
automatic popup blocking. which you can disable for sites where you want popups, and it's smart, so if you click a link and it blocks a popup, and you click it again, its not gonna block it.
available plugins, including one where you can use simple mouse gestures to perform any command you desire
thats the short list. get it and find out.

downloaded and installed....

Crashed in 5 minutes while trying to load up a site (Wanted 2 add a theme)...

not a good impression ><

Some of the themes will not work with this version of firebird. They made some changes to the api. This is probibly why people are having theme related problems and things like scrollbars missing. The theme writers will have to update for the newest version before you can use them.

I'm getting this error message when trying to go to fark:

"The file / cannot be found. Please check the location and try again."

Fark comes up fine in IE, what's going on here?

Excellent. It feels faster than Firebird and I'm glad they fixed (or uh, "broke"?) the WMV extensions.

Happiness is a wet dog and a comfortable browser. 😉

Fark comes up fine for me.

It cracks me up the way they keep changing the name due to TM issues. Why don't they just cut to the chase and call it Firepants or something; nobody will have taken that one.

I used to be an Opera loyalist but after the last few versions of Firebird and now Firefox, I have to say I haven't launched Opera or IE in a while, it is great!
