Anyone solve the problem with previously viewd links on the page not showing you already visited them? I had this problem with Mozilla 1.6 as well. I always click on links twice because it doesn't show if you viewed the page already (darkish blue colored link). This is the only reason I didn't keep Firefox (Mozilla).

EDIT: And yes I did go into the options and even tried different colors altogether for links. Still no go.

Anyone else having this problem?

i'm using opera and refuse to switch to firefox unless it does all opera does better/more. Continue last browsing session on next startup in firefox? No? Then no thanks.

I'm just glad I don't have to pay for my browser 😉

I have to say this is my first foray into an anti msft browser sincer the netscape 4.5 days. I like the tabs , and I like the layout. Images seem to load a bit slower, but i can live with that. I tried opera a few times and it was a bit to schizo for me...i think firefox is a hit

I think the images loading slower is an illusion, IE just doesn't show images until they are loaded while FireFox shows its image icon in all the places pictures are supposed to be and then loads them in a row, not all at once.

I agree as well. In IE there is an option in the Advanced Tab and Multimedia Options to "Show image download placeholders". I just turned it on and it it "Seems" faster when it really isn't. Actually, for me it seems IE is faster than Firefox loading up and faster at how quickly pages load up?!?!

this is one nice browser, i've been using it since firebird first came out, not when it was phoenix.
all i have to say is that this is one fast browser, it boots up faster than IE, loads html faster.
its pretty stable despite the pre-1.0 releases, i like it alot, the tabbed browsing comes in handy alot, for forums and for browsing, beats digging through many layers of IE windows. also, the popup blocker seems very efficent, blocking out all the popups, but allowing the popup that you want, to still come out.
shortcut typing is a big plus, i can google seardh with 'gg query' and look up words with merriam webster with 'mw word', really helpful

all in all, love it, and its fast, kick's IE ass anyday.
