Thanks, just upgraded my Firebird that I have been using for about 2 months. I got it from teh FTP server (look up) at 220 KB/s with FlashFXP. The download is always from the FTP, but most internet clients take about 30 seconds to start contacting an FTP in my experience and therefore a dedicated FTP client is helpful.

can you just install over 0.7 or do you have to uninstall first? i dont want to risk losing bookmarks or settings.

i installed in a new directory (not over 0.7) and i have all my bookmarks, settings etc.

Not really that different from 0.7, either. Downloads and bookmarks are managed a little differently. The most important new feature (for me at least) is support for filetypes (such as .wma) that have been incorrectly stored as text files. Now they will play properly rather than fill your window with garbage.

I was able to install over 0.7 in the same directory. All plugins remained as well as bookmarks.

i cant find the autofill option for forms like the google toolbar has...i thought this had the same functionality? also how do i import my IE favorites again (when i did the install it grabbed the wrong set) thanks in advance.

2. File-->Import
