Two more resigned today here in UK https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/theresa-may-resign-ben-bradley_uk_5b44d927e4b07aea7544af73 problem is the PM is too soft in her talks, we need a new Maggie Thatcher that takes no crap from the EU bullies, end of the day Brexit will go through and get sorted one way or another, I'm not voting for the Tories in the next election that is for sure.

EU has too many crappy laws on UK and that is really one of the reasons why a lot of people voted to leave, we just want our own country back and controlled by us and not the EU puppets.

Who do you propose we trade with if not the EU? 55% of our exports go (well, 'went', prior to referendum) there. If we want to continue exporting to the EU, we have to follow their trade rules regardless of whether we're in the EU or not. You've advocated swapping a situation where we had a say and even a veto in those rules to having no say and no veto.

And before you say "trade with other countries instead", do you know how many businesses your decision will throw under the bus? One of my customers runs their own business, they voted Brexit, and even before Brexit has even been finalised they're saying that they've lost 4/5's of their customers (EU businesses of course) who thought it was wiser to find a new source for their parts before the shit hit the fan.

To have trading partners, you have to follow their rules. The UK is not a big fish in the world and hasn't been for a very long time, nor do we have some essential resource that other nations are banging down our door for. Your idea of control is pure naivety, unless you intend to wield significant influence through political activism. You've simply been duped by people with lots of money, for whom change is the chance of profit, and for whom loss is a recoverable situation because they're never betting the farm. Most of the people in the UK do not have that luxury.

My family votes are not the whole of UK, regardless I 've nothing more to say and will not be drawn into an argument or defending my statements, so end of post in this thread for me. Argue amongst yourselves, I'm done :) .
Well, ya came on strong little buddy. Can't blame us for expecting a bit more from ya. It's not unreasonable for someone to ask for your informed reasoning rather than just your foot stomping. If you can't articulate your reasoning link an article or statistics that support your stance. Just a suggestion.

The whole argument that other countries in the EU get treated better than others is hilarious considering the fact that the UK had the most privileges and exceptions granted for being an EU member compared to everyone else. Even with all the extra perks and privileges the EU granted the UK (including keeping the Pound and not adopting the Euro), they still complained that they weren't "independent", or "sovereign" enough from the EU. Ever since the vote, I have not seen one fleshed-out argument over what kind of "sovereignty" the UK will "get back from the EU", and how it will help them now that they're on their own now.

The whole immigration mantra also seems fairly vague, since there is nothing stopping a fully sovereign UK to prioritize hiring and paying illegal immigrants (Eastern Europeans) for jobs compared to hiring and paying their naturally-born citizens. The whole idea that the British government will actually care for the locals now that they're out of the EU has always sounded like a delusional fantasy.

The only thing the UK has going for themselves in today's and tomorrow's globalized world is London. When London starts to lose economic and financial influence amongst their trading partners, the rest of the country will not fare any better than the capital.

I have a prediction: If Brexit actually does happen, no matter how bad it gets (assuming something extreme doesn't occur like a civil war), Brexiteers will be out in force saying "see! It wasn't so bad!", and then will scurry away the moment anyone asks them for clarification, or what their expectations were for Brexit and whether those were delivered in their opinion, etc.

They will blame everyone but themselves.

This is the one defining characteristic of Brexiteers right up to the top. Any time you hold them to explain their position they will cut and run.
Boris did it immediately after the referendum and he's doing it again now for example.
They simply dont have a fucking clue what they want and no idea how to achieve it but they are sure that all our problems will be solved by standing on the white cliffs of Dover and yelling at France and foreigners around.

They have this weird idea that we have some sort of hold over Europe and that we can negotiate whatever we want out of them. In short they are the credulous led by the cynical.
